The summer of my junior, my friend Brandon went to Big Bear. He was there for a week and said “I got something for you”. He refused to tell me what it was no matter how much I insisted. My first thought was that he was going to be the goofball that he is and say he brought me snow. When he finally got back and we both entered our summer class he showed me. In slow motion I could see what he had in his backpack. It was a coca cola bottle, but as I turned it I realized that it had my name on it. I have always told him that merchandise with names on it usually never have my name. It was such a simple gift yet so thoughtful. It meant a lot to me because something so small made me smile. It meaningful because it was a surprise but not one I expected

Use these tips to help you out if you are going to try to take a trip to Great Wolf Lodge on a budget.
Wisconsin Dells was better than Six Flags because my family stayed longer. We were in Wisconsin Dells for four days, but we were only at Six Flags for two days. Because we were in the Dells longer, my family was able to create more memories. Six Flags may have had more attractions inside the park itself, but I felt rushed and did not enjoy my time there as much. The length of time my family spent in Wisconsin also gave us the ability to experience the numerous attractions found outside of the park.
Years ago my family took a trip to Yellowstone National Park. I chose this common experience for this memory assignment. First, I made a list of all the things I remembered from my trip at Yellowstone. I remembered we traveled in our motorhome and got halfway to our destination and parked on the side of the road and slept there for the night. I remember seeing the famous geyser; Old Faithful, in addition to seeing lots of bison, and bears. I recall one night that we stayed in a campground bears were in the campground and we were being told to stay in our campers. I also remember during the trip my dad would give me all the spare change and I would collect it. I saved the change up to buy souvenirs or candy. I also remember going to a shirt
My youth pastor pulled out of our church parking lot at three am in the morning loaded down with a bus full of twenty four teenagers including me. We were off at last head to Colorado Spring Colorado, little did I know, our bus was going to fall apart this very day.
The first item that I had was my red WKU towel. I told the students that I really love being a student at WKU and that is why I had a red towel in my box. Secondly, I showed them my Jeff Brohm bobble head. I asked the students if they knew
Many scary things have happened in the Alaskan wilderness, but not as terrifying as the time when a 750 pound bear, haunted the woods. I won a 2 week Elk hunting trip to Alaska, during a hunter’s club raffle ticket drawing. The night before the trip, I was restless, because I was so excited for a hunt of a lifetime. The next morning, I packed my camo clothing, rifle, and knife for when I kill a bull elk. A friend of mine helped me load up, and fuel the plane before I flew off to Alaska. When I got there, the people who lived in Alaska, told me stories about a kodiak bear that roamed the wilderness, that would make you hair turn white if you heard them. The cabin that I stayed in was nice and cozy. There was a warm fire in the fireplace, a moose
I woke up in the middle of the night with my head throbbing in a place I did not know how I got here then I remembered the last thing I did remember is a bear right next to my and then sirens wailing and people saying
I was making my way to the cafeteria for lunch, when my friend Allie grabbed my arm and whisked me out the front doors of the school. My other friend BethAnne and another girl she knows were close on our heels. Allie announced that she was getting us Little Caesar's. Little Caesar's pizza is my favorite kind of pizza and I can usually only buy it occasionally, so I was reasonably excited.
I grew up as a watcher. I learned to watch the weather, the environment, and the people around me. I’ve gathered so much information in my mind on people's behavior and how they act out in this world just by sitting back, being silent, and taking it all in. With my experiences hiking at Hocking Hills, I have realized there are experienced hikers, non-outdoorsmen, and the annoying families.
My youngest son gave me an Amazon gift certificate for Christmas this year because he knows how much I shop there. He also framed my three Huffington Post articles, along with a note encouraging me to continue to follow my dreams. This gift meant more to me than any jewelry, designer handbag, outfit or red-bottom shoes. This gift tells me he 's watching AND he 's taking notes. I am his mirror.
To start off my story about my trip to California, I would like to provide you with information about myself. I have been wanting to go to California for many years now. I was finally given the opportunity to go when my girlfriend’s uncle invited us to visit for a week. I was automatically very excited because he lived close to places my favorite movie was shot, that movie is Fast and Furious. I love cars and that movie, and what better place to go then Los Angeles to see where the movie was made.
The next item I have is a graduation cap. This is from my kindergarten graduation
One of the most enjoyable things in life are road trips, particularly to the Colorado mountains. Getting to spend time with your family and friends, while being in a beautiful place, is irreplaceable. The fifteen-hour road trip may feel never-ending, but gazing at the mountains from afar makes life’s problems seem a little smaller and causes worries to become a thing of the past. Coming in contact with nature, untouched, is a surreal experience. My family trip to the Colorado mountains last summer was inspiring.

The distinct clicking of the American Flag as it is placed in its stands starts the chorus of young voices pledging their promise,“On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight”. These words come with a special power that guided and supported me in the toughest and in the best of times. The journey of a scout is one of commitment, good ethics and exemplary citizenship as one grows to become a trustworthy leader and a person of strong character. Not without any difficulties and roadblocks along the way, I am privileged, honored and proud to have taken the journey and ultimately reached my Eagle
