Personal Narrative: My Time At Haddonfield Memorial High School

In my time at Haddonfield Memorial High School I have choose to take some of the hardest classes and pack the most into each year. With six to seven classes and very few study halls or electives, my days are filled with academically challenging class after class. I always come home in the spring after picking schedules with the excitement that I have picked the hardest classes and have one of the most rigorous schedules. For some this may seem daunting, and at times it can be, but I also love learning, and because I have taken every class I can and pushed my self there are so many interesting things I would have never learned if I haven't done that.
The information I learn about the world I live in is priceless. There are numerous books that

I get to experience that some of my peers may not, like the thought provoking Invisible Man, which recounts a story of discrimination against a black protagonist in the 1930s. I got to read this novel in my AP Literature class. Also, I was able to learn about the French writer Jean Jacques Rousseau, someone who I learned about in AP World History and AP European History, classes that about 16-20 people in the whole school have taken, someone who many of my peers miss out on, never getting to read his powerful and revolutionary work, the likes of which helped inspire the French Revolution. These are things that although I could live my life without having learned, they enrich my experience.
For all four years of my high school experience I have taken full advantage of the fantastic education system I was placed in. Constantly pushing myself to the brink of what I can learn and do in one day, taking some of the most challenging classes in the school, the ones few dare to take.
