Roller-coasters gliding upside down, winding through a loop, lasting for as long as I could remember. Learning many things I’ve had many memorable and important experiences. It all started in the 20th of July. It was a saturday and was my fifth day working at the daycare. There was a field trip that day that everybody excited about. They needed an extra person to help with the field trip and I gladly volunteered to go with them. There were many great things about working at the daycare, but my favorite memory is the day I went to Valley Fair. I vividly remember the first time that I was about to go to an amusement park in sixth grade. I was extremely enthusiastic when my school informed me the day before that we were about to go to an amusement
park. The next morning I got sick and my parents didn't allow me to go. I was so angry that I wanted to vanish from this world. Taking the kids to Valley Fair was another opportunity for me to redeem the field trip that I wanted to go when I was a sixth grader. Everyone in the daycare has already been to Valley Fair before except me. I didn’t want anyone to know that it was my first time, so I acted like it wasn’t a big deal. We were on the bus heading to Valley fair, thinking what rides I should go on. All of my siblings went to valley fair and now it was finally my turn. The variety of rides to choose from quickly overwhelmed me and I knew I had a job to do. There were expeditious and thrilling roller-coasters, however, there were also the slow-paced boat rides; the lines for these rides were significantly shorter than the ones for the roller coasters. I really admired the beautiful sights Valley Fair had to offer and rides. My favorite ride of all was the “Wild Thing” because this ride showed me what Valley fair was all about. This was one of the first rides I wanted to go on because it was all my friends and family talked about. I remember this kid that wanted to go on the ride but was too scared to. I was kinda scared too but had to man up and offered to go on the ride with him. Seeing the kid scared and shaking, I knew I could relate. I felt like running away but didn’t want to leave the kid alone. I wanted to be a good role model to him and also because it was my job. The second the ride started to move, I knew there was no going back. The rollercoaster kept going so high that I could see the whole amusement park. When we finally reached all the way to the top, I could feel the kid holding onto my hand while knowing my hand was sweating . I couldn’t tell if it was me holding his hand or him. I could barely breath as we went down. The wind was hitting my face and I felt my stomach hurting. I didn’t know if this was me getting excited or me about to shit on myself.
was on my golden birthday. I was turning 5 and I had never been to
This was a very difficult Journal for me. As I tried to think back to my childhood, I could
Apple Valley as a whole is a great place to settle down and live, but not every town can be completely perfect, something is always bound to happen. Petty theft, Car thefts, and vandalism are some downsides to this town. Sadly, all towns and cities have to deal with these kinds of people that do stuff to try and downgrade these wonderful places.
My feet are sore from rushed reps, and the sun is beating down on my back as I spin the routine for “America the Beautiful” for the umpteenth time. Mr. Rice had no sympathy despite this being the last day of band camp. The longer that I spent marching circles around the school, the more nervous I was about running out of time. It wasn't necessarily anybody's fault that the clock was ticking down, and that I was afraid of losing everything. The metronome beat endlessly, speeding up as if it wanted rest as much as we did.
Me, Donna, my daughter, Gina, and her friend, Jenny got stranded in the middle of one of the most dangerous places in the world. There was nothing even remotely green, the place was a desert, and it had an area of 3 million acres. We were going to drive to a landmark but we must have taken a wrong turn once we hit the mountains, I tried the GPS but that got us more lost. Then our supplies including gas ran out and we have been walking ever since.
It was dark , I couldn’t see anything , I was running around trying to find people but I couldn't find anybody . Here’s the story about how I got lost playing hide and seek in the dark in the corn fields . It was the scariest thing I have ever done I was 13 years old . I tried to be the tough kid and say that I would be it first , that was the dumbest thing I have ever done . It was my sister Lizzie, her friend Sydney ,and my friend Chance . We had one rule that you can only stay in the corn fields . So they told me to start counting to 50 so I did . They took off.
I was so excited. I could hardly breathe through the hour drive it took to get there. I was squished between my two ten-year-old best friends in the back seat of a white Saturn, but I didn't care. I was practicing over and over in my head what I was going to say to all the smart-alecky adults who would tell me I was too young to ride the water slides. I was simply going to reply, "Actually I'm ten, going on eleven."
Love is treacherous and adventuring, but it can model you into the person you are today. When you ardor someone you will have a broad affection and a powerful awareness and want to share a future with them.
That’s how I felt like. One 90 degree day I went to Six Flags in San Antonio, Texas. The first ride that I and my dad went on was the boomerang! That was my very first time riding a rollercoaster. We got in the line which look like
My family and I don’t have a lot of traditions, but as long as I can remember I have been going to the oregon country fair in Veneta, Oregon. It happens once a year during the second week of July. It is always on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The fair consists of hundreds of booths filled with delicious snacks, handmade goods, and other sorts of crafts. My grandmother created the booth Glamarama, when Country Fair first started in 1969. My booth is a hair braiding/face painting booth, which I absolutely love. My mom and about four other close friends face paint and my aunt and two other women hair braid. I have been learning to face paint from my mom since I was young, and I have always thought it was so beautiful. I just recently was able to paint in the booth since my skills have developed. Face painting is very rewarding because you get to connect with friendly strangers, and paint beautiful designs onto them.
Every since I can remember I have liked to watch movies, I would never watch a scary
I have always been fascinated by carnival rides. It amazes me that average, ordinary people eagerly trade in the serenity of the ground for the chance to be tossed through the air like vegetables in a food processor. It amazes me that at some time in history someone thought that people would enjoy this, and that person invented what must have been the first of these terrifying machines. For me, it is precisely the thrill and excitement of having survived the ride that keeps me coming back for more.
Have you had a really fun experience in your life? Such as going to an amusement park, to the beach, or any other places that are similar? I had a fun experience at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom amusement park. It started first with the attractions the park had, then it was the restaurant I ate at for lunch, and last I had enjoyed all the family bonding that was going throughout the entire day. So now that you know what my experience is about, I am now going to explain to you about the fun times I had in my experience at Magic Kingdom.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
The light from the sun reflects off the pure white wall, illuminating the room. The dust floats, undisturbed by the empty house. This is what I see as I launch myself out the door, into the hot summer air, into the sounds of playing children.
