Recommended: My future career as a photo journalist

I love photography as much as I love pop culture. My love for pop culture is what got me into photography. Lets think back to Lauren Conrad and Teen Vogue, circa mid 2000s ,that’s when I decided that I wanted to do something creative career wise . I don’t believe in ever giving up. No dream is far fetched to achieve. After high school I went to a local community college for a couple of years until I got into my dream school, the Pratt Institute located in Brooklyn. I love collaborating with others. I feel like this is a important skill to have in this profession because so much goes into making a photo shoot happen.     My mother once told me to take pictures during a family picnic. That was the day I discovered the art of photography. I found it fascinating how an image could be capable of sharing an entire story. What started out as a hobby, ended up becoming a life-long passion that has allowed me to develop into a more capable individual. By sharing the responsibility and by having confidence in my team, the quality of my work drastically improved, and in turn, I thrived in such an environment.
