The experience that I went through a couple of years ago is what influenced me to go to Colorado Christian University. I went through a case that I end up in jail for whipping my cousin child. My cousin felt like that her son should not get punished for what he was doing. I ended up spending 6 months in jail. While in jail God had me in a place that He had my attention. I study the Word of God and I also helped other people who were lock up with me to see the way of the Lord. When I was released I realized that people with children with behavior problems need counseling along with the children. That changed my life. Then when I got out my cousin son had broken his little sister arm. I am going to strife to be excellent in my academic work
Overall I didn’t really have the great of an experience and that was the reason why I went back to my family’s house, and was able to continue my education at a Christian school; such as Azusa pacific University which I love. I love the fact that I am also learning more about God, and having a wonderful people that are getting to know more about God as well. My overall experience made me more grateful to be where I am today and to be able to focus more on my life being around my family.
When I was 11 years old, I gave my life to Christ. My generous soul had been apparent to others at my Christian Academy, so me not being saved was a shock to many. As I stood with my

Testimonies of how you stayed faithful even when times were tough. Moments you will be able to look back and be thankful to God for them. Those moments will increase your faith and you will be able to trust God because of what happened in the past. Your testimonies are great to edify yourself but even better to edify other people. Using your experience, you will be able to encourage people in their relationship with God. If we look at Daniel in the Bible, we know that he was a good man who feared God, yet God allowed him to be sentenced to death in a lion’s den. Daniel was saved by God so it’s hard to call it a suffering, but still we see that God used this situation to show his might to the king Darius and his nation –“I issues a decree that in every part of my kingdom people must fear and reverence the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and he endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He rescues and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in the heavens and on the earth. He has rescued Daniel from the power of the lions.” Dave Earley says it so well, “God’s ultimate plan behind all of His activities on this planet is to present humanity with a clear testimony of who He truly is and what He
college, but I had to put my child and myself first. Don’t get me wrong, none of my kids will ever be consider mistakes, but I just wish I would have continued on with the path that I had planned. I know looking back I would have been able to handle raising a child while taking a few college classes each
I am where I am today because of the guidance that I have received through reading the bible. Moreover, I love the bible stories that showed me how God used people of low estate to win some of the greatest victories. These individuals were given a place in the front while their circumstances and the people around them placed them at the back. For example, King David was only a shepherd who was overlooked by his own father when Samuel came looking for the next king, and Ruth married a rich man despite being a poor heathen widow because she came from Moab. I have also gathered strength from seeing that the great prophet Elijah had a great moment of fear and despondency when his life was threatened by Jezebel, even though called fire from heaven
We’ve learned that this was why he acted the way that he did as a small child. Extreme temper tantrums, night terrors, and emotional distress were just a few of the behaviors that he exhibited. We've been able to move forward as a family to try to help deal with those things which even now at age eleven, he is still working
During my seventh grade year, my church went to a youth rally at a local church on weekend. Because of this rally and the message it sent, I realized and wanted to give my life to Jesus through baptism. It was awesome, I got home as a young teenager and actually talked to my mom about what it really means to be a Christian and to pick up your cross and follow him. So that very next weekend, my dad baptized me in front of the whole church on Sunday morning. It was an awesome feeling knowing that because of Jesus’ grace and mercy, I will be with him one day and spend eternity with him. Although I was on top of the world at this point, I still didn’t know fully what I had gotten into. So the next few years, I live the typical Christian life. I was trying to be the perfect person by doing the right stuff, I would try not to cuss, I would try to wear as many WWJD bracelets as I could so that I wouldn’t have to talk to them about Christ and they could just see it on my wrist, I would not join in on conversations with my friends that I knew were not right, I was just living life on cruise control.
I ended living in the church for about 3 months. I married a man that I should not have married and all hell began to break loose.
