My dominant winning color is blue which is a relater and my least dominant winning color is red which is an adventurer. My dominant color is blue because I am a person who wanted to relate to everyone. I would like everyone to get along with each other as we are the world. Sometime, I may have a romantic feeling for just that one person but I can not let that person know because he always see me just as a friend so I would just keep secret and be friend with him. Most of the time, I keep secret from others about my feeling. When I
had a very bad feelings, I usually keep it to myself because I think to myself, if I let others know about my feelings, a problem could happen. It can also gives me a very bad feeling after I tell out my feeling to that person. So all I did was to keep my feelings secret. As an adventurer, I really don’t want to be that kind of person that’s why it is my least winning color. I have seen about how a problem happened a lot when people challenge each other. Another thing is most people want to live with freedom but as I can see, most people now a day are doing bad things. So if they live with their freedom life, the community might get worser. It’s obvious because most people already live however they want. My personality is just always a quiet and shy person. Most of the time I’m being quiet because I was always quiet since I was a kid. I want to be more comfortable with my attitude but I can never do that because of my shy behavior. When it comes to teamwork, I may help out but I can never get louder than how I am now. However, it is the best thing to do a teamwork. It may be uncomfortable but I just have to get through it.

Toni Morrison's Beloved makes one ponder the essence of life and death. It is a novel that can challenge the brain, and change an opinion about the supernatural. One of the biggest symbols throughout the novel would be colors. Colors such as pink, red, and orange are mentioned on numerous occasions throughout the novel.
Blue. Red. Green. Yellow. White. Black. Colors. They can have positive or negative impacts on characters in literature. Khaled Hosseini clearly reveals this concept in A Thousand Splendid Suns. Just as Zora Neale Hurston explained in her article, “How it Feels to be Colored Me,” I never thought much about race until I was about thirteen years old during my junior high school years. As Zora stated, “I remember the very day that I became colored” (30). I, too, recall the day I realized that I was white and that it meant something more than just a Crayola color. No longer was white just a color; it was the race I belonged to with its own rules and regulations.
With competition, people have incentive to improve. Last fall, my father had the idea for the two of us to have a competition and see who could do more sit-ups by the end of the year. This would be part of my offseason baseball training and his normal exercise. We were both doing hundreds of sit-ups a day, and I eventually won. In the end, we were both the winners because this was very good exercise for our body, which probably would not have been done without the competition. At the end of each of my basketball lessons, my coach and I would play a short game of one versus one. At first, he would always win. I grew tired of always losing to
I am not completely aware of race, however, I do see the world as we are there is very probable that I hold bias’s both within the Caucasian racial identity and outside of it as well. On the other hand, gender has been a predominate factor in my life, I have resisted the stereotypes of most female oriented jobs. I worked in factories as soon as my eighteenth birthday, I worked two jobs most of the time and never relied on a male for any support, I joined the Army, as the first female in my family to join the military. Also, choosing physically demanding employment opportunities. However, in the realm of income, I was always behind male counterparts, passed up for promotions, or laid-off first. Although, my paperwork always bragged about being
“You are only allowed to make racist jokes if it’s about your own race.” This saying, which radiated through the halls of my middle school that prided itself for its diversity, managed to make me feel more comfortable in my own skin. Why did the ability to make fun of two different races, while many of my peers could only make fun of one, validate my own racial identity? I should not have wanted to tease my race and my ancestors but it helped me feel comfortable, even though I knew my knowledge of the cultures I was born into was lacking.

Wait. Be still. Don't go over the line. Don't let go. Wait for it. "BANG!" My reactions were precise as I sprung out of the blocks. The sun was beating down on my back as my feet clawed at the blistering, red turf. With every step I took, my toes sunk into the squishy, foul smelling surface, as my lungs grasped for air. Everything felt the way it should as I plunged toward my destination. I clutched the baton in my sweaty palms, promising myself not to let go. My long legs moved me as fast as I could go as I hugged the corner of the line like a little girl hugging her favorite teddy bear. The steps were just like I had practiced. As I came closer to my final steps, my stomach started twisting and my heart beat began to rise. The different colors of arrows started to pass under my feet, and I knew it was time.
