Personal Narrative: Mario's Hot Doggeria

It was a peaceful day here in Times Square, Jordan, Hannah and I had been taking a walk to our favorite hot dog stand when we got there the hot dog vendor had been robbed! All of us were furious because this was our favorite hot dog stand. We promised Tanner, the hot dog vendor, that we would find the culprit. First we looked around the crime scene to see if we could find clues. The first clue we found was a phone number and a business card that read “Mario’s Hot Doggeria” we suspected the suspect had something to do with “Mario’s Hot Doggeria” so we went there. When we arrived, Mario the owner of the place told us he has been robbed too. We wondered if the person who robbed Mario was the same person who robbed Tanner. We asked Mario to describe the culprit “I never got to see

the man who robbed us I was too busy washing dishes in the back” Mario said. “Tanner told us the man who robbed him was tall and wearing a black coat.” Jordan tells Mario. “Do you mind if we watch some security footage so we could try to compare the man who robbed both you and Tanner.” I explained. Mario went to get the security footage from this afternoon and we examined the man. We realized it was the same man, but something was oddly strange about his shirt we could barely read what it said but we zoomed in on the shirt and the shirt read, “Robert’s Pizzeria.” We decided to call the number the culprit lost at Tanner hot dog stand and found out the number was of “Robert’s Pizzeria.” We went to go find and Tanner and when we told him about finding out the number belonged to Robert’s Pizzeria he responded quickly with “Robert! I should’ve known it was him. He has always wanted to shut down my business” Tanner seemed very angry when we mentioned Robert. “Okay Tanner so you think it was Robert who stole you and Mario’s hotdogs?” I asked. “Yes, he has never liked us because our businesses are way more popular than his business.” We headed to “Robert’s Pizzeria” and read a sign that said, “NOW SELLING HOTDOGS.” Could this be, could Robert be using Mario and Tanner’s hotdogs for his own business?

Tanner had a plan and he told me to go order a hotdog then we would examine it to compare the hotdogs Robert is selling to the ones Tanner sells. I ordered the hotdog and Tanner noticed something ver familiar. “Aha, he is using my hotdogs because my hotdogs are the only kind that are made with cinnamon pretzel bread and my buns have a tiny T initial in the corner.” I was really impressed of how much detail he put in his hot dog buns.”The reason why I put that initial is because I know how to identify my buns if someone tries to steal my hot dogs again, because believe me this isn’t the first time someone has tried to steal my hotdogs.” At last, we finally found out Robert was the guilty one. Tanner and Mario got their hotdogs that were stolen back and Robert’s business was shut down. We realized that sometimes people do all kinds of crazy things to see people suffer in order for them to be happier, even if it’s not the right thing to

do.
