There is a quote that I have recently started following and it its “Life is a highway”. It is a great way to see life. I explain it as there are bumps in the road and there are all these exits you can take before getting to your destination. The quote is great because it tells you to finish your project all the way to the end and don’t quit early and take a different path.
I use “Life is a highway” in my life by going through with projects I have. My Volkswagen Bug that I am restoring is finally going to get some love and hopefully be running by the end of this summer. It is a awesome feeling when you go through a project and finish it. At work I am working on a 50s Nash Metropolitan and it has been in our shop for a tremendous amount of time. We are coming up to the last stretch of being able to paint it put it back together buffing it and giving it back to the owners.

In my life I would have not gone anywhere without them. They stay with me throughout all the life choices I have made and sometime have their own input for me. My family stays with me to death. We are a close family also; we all know pretty much everything about each other even though I try and hide something’s they still find out or I eventually tell them. On the topic of family my dad, stepmom, and little sister now live out in South Carolina. It was hard when they left but it is nice. Since they moved there I have taken many trips over there and I really like it. I am planning on moving out with them because there are more opportunities there then here. If I do move there I will also get to see my aunt, uncle, niece, and nephew. Back to my priorities, the second one would be my friendships. Friendships are an essential part to my life and I tend to value them very highly. It is always good to find a group of friends that enjoy what you do and will be there for you. I am a very friendly person and usually if you are nice to me I will be nice to
My parents, love to do things as a family, they always wanted to do things, with me and my sister, we are a very close family and its so great because I know that my sister will always be there like she was been for the past 16 years, I know she's always just a phone call away.
My family is the most important people in my life. I can always count on my family to be there in my time of need, and someone that is always there to laugh with me and make great memories with. Even though I am ten hours away from home, I know I can still call my mom and dad anytime, day or night, just to simply say “hey what’re you doing?”, or to talk about things going on at Union. I encourage you as you move forward in life to always make the most of the little things in life. You never know when the unexpected might occur, so never take your family for
Family is one of the most important things everyone has in common. Your family are people who are willing to except you for who you are. People who are willing to fight for you, and who care about
Rape is one of the most frequently committed crimes in America, but is rarely ever talked about. According to the National Violence against women survey, one in six women and one in thirty men report having experienced an attempted or completed rape (Starre, 2014). We have millions of songs that discuss almost everything you can think of including drugs, money, significant others, and even divorce but just about a handful that really talk about rape. Out of the few, I ran across a song called “Quarterback” by Kira Isabelle. This song is in the country genre but we all know that country music has that twist of blues and folk so it really gives off that feeling of loneliness and desperation. Isabella wrote the song to emphasize date rape that
My family has been there for me through thick and thin. Their love has driven me to achieve greater things in life. One example of this is when I won a student of the month award back in 8th grade. Although this was sometime ago this wouldn’t have happened without the love and support of my family. My mother always motivates me to get up in the morning and have a very productive day (even if I don’t want to).
My family is super important to me because they love me and care for me. They feed me and are very nice. I have three sisters that always take me places with them.I have one nephew and two nieces that are really cool . My family surround me with love every time i see one of them. I am lucky to have the family i have.
I live at home with both of my parents, my second oldest brother, and occasionally my oldest brother and niece visit as well. I grew up with the concept from both of my parents that family is important, no matter what family always comes first. My father showed me this concept in many situations like working all across the country and having to stay away from home to provide. Or even before he had a family and immigrated to the United States so his future family could have a better life. Because of the concept that family comes from, my family is very important to me.
Family is always there to guide us through the trials life has to offer. They comfort us through those trials and support us when we make less than perfect decisions. They will
When the word “family” is discussed, most people think of mothers, fathers, and other siblings. Some people think of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and even cousins and more on the pedigree tree. Without family in people's lives, they would not be the same people that they grew up to be today and in the future. When people hear the word family they think about, the ones who will help them in any way they can whether it’s money, support, advice, or anything to help them succeed in life. Family will forever be the backbone of support.
Whether it’s watching survivor or cooking sun basket for dinner, we have fun with each other. I love going on trips around the world and staying up late at concerts with my sister, mom, and dad. It truly amazes me how well we all get along without having to force on family time or game night. Without my family I not only wouldn’t have a roof over my head but I wouldn’t
As I get older my priorities in life change. When I was in my teenage years my three main priorities were me, myself and I. In my early twenties working, having fun and buying things were my priorities. Now that I am older my priorities in life have shifted. My top three priorities in life are my children, my marriage and my education.
My family has shaped my identity throughout the years and I am who I am today because of them. My grandpa showed me the role of hard work on the farm and how it will pay off. My dad showed me how to be athletic and have a tough side. My mother taught me how to have a
In the end, my family as a whole is the reason that I am the person that I am today. It’s the way that different personalities all come together as one, the way my family handles hard situations, and the closeness I have with them that has really impact me and my life. I know that I would not be as cheerful, hardworking, or positive without seeing all these qualities around me for a majority of my life. It’s astonishing how just 6 people can change you for the better. I know I would be in a very different place in my life if it wasn’t for my family. Family is different for everyone, and mine is truly the best people for me.
My family is a love I have. My immediate family consists of six people: my dad, mom, and three sisters and me. However, I love these people on a different scale than I love books. Whether it is a hand to guide, a tissue to wipe away tears, or simply a smile to make my day better I can count on people to love me and so, henceforth, I love them in return. I love my parents for many reasons. They are always there for me when I need help or am need of anything.
