This year of 9th grade I have currently changed my entire appearance during my semester in high school, so I can fit accordingly to the high school standard for myself and my new appearance. The ways that I have changed and adjusted would be my hairstyle, my apparel, my attitude, the way that I act towards others, the way that I speak, and even the way I walk. The other thing that I have changed about myself would be the way that I treat others like being friendly and even the way my friends treat me has also changed in the way they respect me as one of their friends. The last but not final adjustment that I have changed myself would be the way I feel affectionate towards something or even someone, but all that has changed so far has made
me the person that is in 9th grade, also I have changed the way that I have treated my parents now with more respect and honor now than in the few past years with them. This year I know I have changed a lot during the time in high school, but sometimes change can be good at times even though I have adjusted myself to look differently, like my hair, clothes, attitude, and even the way that I think.
people and things around you, maybe even changing the way you see yourself as well. In the
This might sound silly but one of the most drastic changes for me was having to take a bus. I used to walk to school in California so I was able to leave whenever I felt like. The bus made me wake up super early because I was the first stop and also I had to be ready I could not make it wait. The neighborhood kids were used to this so they knew everyone that rode the bus and knew the bus driver, I had to develop that connection while everyone already had it. Besides making new friends the bus made me more punctual, I had to be awake at a certain time and follow my
I was told that this, my junior year, would be the easiest year of my high school career. And no, they were absolutely wrong. It was not just school and grades that I was concern about either. I had other things to worry about, things like, driving, clubs, friends and family. I however had no idea that it would be this difficult. Throughout this school year I have learned many things; like the value of sleep, whose really your friend, and that although very important, grades are not everything.
Adaptability is one of the greatest assets people can have. Some people see it to themselves and some don’t. Though, skepticism about self-adaptability is nonexistent. Knowing about self-capability may be hard, but without even realizing everyone adapts something throughout their lives. For instance, making friends requires a person to spark a common interest. When that friendship grows, it makes it harder to break apart forcing the person to conform accordingly. Other examples can be seen in films such as “Lion,” “Hacksaw Ridge,” “Moonlight,” and “The Man Who Knew Infinity.” By knowing a character’s change, viewers will be able to perhaps realize and connect among themselves about what changes they have done in their lives.
changed and that was her belief in me… because of her unconditional love I am the person that I am today… her reassurance and patience made all the difference.
Everybody has something about themselves and their lives they would like to change. I'm not talking about, "Gee, I need to loose a few pounds," or, "One of these days I really should start going to the gym." I'm talking about things that would change the fundamentals of the person's life.
3.) The change that I could make that would make the biggest improvement in my life is to be organized and stay on top of things. I need to write in a agenda and write when all my homework is due, when I have a test, when I have a quiz, and when I need to study.
Last year at the beginning of the school year I was just starting high school as a freshman at St.T. I was excited about starting there because I had the chance to meet some new people and teachers. Most of the students I had already went to school with from kindergarten to when we graduated eighth grade together, and I went to school with a lot of the upperclassmen in previous years at Our Lady of Lourdes so, I wasn’t scared because I knew so many people already. Anyway, the first semester was fine. I as on the cheer team, I had good grades, and kept them up, and i was gone almost every weekend hanging out with friends. Then the second semester comes. I wasn’t going to cheer practices, my grades dropped, and I missed so many weeks of school
Let’s flash back in time to before our college days. Back to then we had lunch trays filled with rubbery chicken nuggets, stale pizza, and bags of chocolate milk. A backpack stacked with Lisa Frank note books, flexi rulers, and color changing pencils. The times where we thought we wouldn’t make it out alive, but we did. Through all the trials and tribulations school helped build who I am today and shaped my future. From basic functions all the way to life-long lessons that helped shape my character.
I've just changed completely from when I first (entered school). I used to take this little African body and force it into this European square peg. And you know, it didn't work. I kept trying to do it and trying to change who I was and tried to fit in. . . . When I finally decided to be the person that I am, I started feeling more comfortable. (Taylor 1995, p. 84).
Many changes for the good and some were bad but, there were some learning experiences that help make me a better person. The events in my life, was dealing with the Birth and The Death of my first daughter.
don't feel that there was much of a change but the way I now look at
Change is inevitable, as humans, we transform daily and distinction of who we are can be seen as part of our DNA. But as we change we define who we are. However, it is the type of change that an individual decides to undertake during a certain time frame in their life that is most important to them. For myself, the personal change that occurred and was so significant was the opportunity to attend college.
You might not recognize the changes in your life unless someone recognizes it for you. There are times that when you successfully and humbly did what you had to do in improving your personal finance definitely you will not recognize it unless someone recognizes you. There are big improvements that you have done that really changed your life. It might include the biggest plan up to the smallest that you did to achieve your goals in life.
If I’m being completely honest, I have a long list of things I would like to change about myself. I’m sure everyone does, but personally I could pick out my flaws better than I could pick out my strengths. The weird thing is, however, I genuinely like myself. I think I’m pretty great and that my imperfections are what makes me who I am. With all of that said, I would still like to be more refined and love myself rather than just like myself.
