Personal Narrative: An Important Role In The Soccer Team

Ever since i was a toddler, my dream has always been to be able to play soccer at the next level. Either to be given the opportunity to participate in a collegiate or a professional level team. High school has been good to me these past couple of years, followed by several surprises and accomplishments.
According to my coaches and trainers, my hard work and dedication is what really helped me the most on successfully becoming an important role in the team. Ever since I began participating with the soccer team, everybody was impressed on how good my skills and the way I would push everyone around instead of them pushing me since i was smaller, the seniors would call me out saying and telling everybody on how I would have a great future or become one of the good players the school would have. Thankfully god gave me the ability to be good at the sport i

love and my parents that support me in every single way they could, i had a very good freshman season, first year playing at a greater level wth taller, faster, and stronger players; who would've expected for a senior team, having only one freshman playing varsity, would go all the way up to state finals.

Unfortunately the game was not what the team expected. Sadly we lost the state final. Sophmore year came around and it wasnt as good as my first year, we made a good season but at the end all the effort was thrown into the trash by two of my teammates by getting a red card and costing us the first playoff game. We had the same feeling as when we went to state, all the sacrifices for nothing. Junior year came across us with an spectacular season, we changed the way our minds would think, myself as a caption of the varsity team, promised myself to push my teammates to the

limit where they would overcome their selves. We got stronger, faster and smarter as a team we united ourselves as a family and thanks to all those changes we got the chance to play up to the third round in playoffs. Emotionally loosing against a very good team, we accepted our loss the way we should've.
Therefore, my senior year has started. I, myself, am working doublethan what i used to, ever since we lost the past year, I have been preparing myself to succeed and have a greater season. Victory is always on my mind, the word failure is not accepted in my mindset. If one of my teammates ever decides to slack off, I will gladly tell him or them to leave, i will even open the door for them. We are going to come back stronger than ever, and we will accomplish our goal. As they say, year of lasts, dedicate yourself and prepare to accomplish the goals that you have set for yourself. State tournament get ready that I'm coming to get you!
