was that we only one car so we needed to wait for my mom to get home. tim passed by i couldn't feel my foot no more i was feeling bad because i was losing a lot of blood and there was no way to stop it from bleeding. when my dad tried to take it out still i wasn't working. more time passed on and i was feeling if i was going to pass out but i tried not to think about that. my dad still tried to but he just count do it my dad called my mom to rush to the house.then when my mom finally come home my dad grabbed me and put me in the car and he put a lot of paper towels because he didn't want boode on the car. he tried to get there as fast as we can as soon as we got there we when straight to the emergency room. when we got there they first gave me a pill so my pain can go away and i waited until they called my name to get my nail out of my foot. when they called my name they took me in this room. they first looked at the nail and it was rusty so they said we need to take out this nail out of my foot. they first tried to take it out i was screaming because it was hurting when he tries to pull it out. the next thing they did was to try and take it out with some tools but when he was trying the told me to try to be brave and stay still. but when they pulling it i was moving a lot after a bit they count take it out because the nail was to far in and it was impossible to take the nail just just by the tools and they could see the nail too much because of all the blood that come out. so they first cleaned my foot and then tried one more time but it didn't work they had nothing they didn’t know what to do and how to take it out so they told me they needed to cut my skin open untill they got a better view of the nail. they numbed my foot before they can take the nail for by cutting my skin. when they were getting ready to take out the skin i was scared my heart pounding it felt if time got slower.
when they start trying to cut my skin it felt like in my foot was getting ripped off. when they were cutting my skin they finally could see the nail perfectly but they still needed to cut some more skin until they can see the whole thing and they can take it out. they stopped for a bit because there was too much blood coming out of my foot. when they started cutting a bit more they finally get the nail but when they are getting the nail out i move and it makes it harder for them to take it out. if felt so painful. they told me to be brave when they are trying to take it out. so they put the nail out a bit and then stopped. then they pulled it more blood came out so they needed to clean my foot and pull again. when they get it have way they stop and clean me and gave me a brake. when they told me if i was ready they told me that my are going to take it out fast so it is not that painful. so when they have the needed they said to close your eyes and don't move when they pulled it finally came out and i was happy that they took it
out.
but i was in a hospital and it wasn't my alarm it was my heart rate, i looked down and i had a big wrap around my back and chest. I couldn't remember what had happened but i was cold very cold but it didn't seem to bother me i was so fascinated, i looked up and the doctor was standing there examining him said “we don't know how you survived” i questioned ”what happened” well when we found you you had a icicle strait through your heart and we thought you were gone but when we went to touch it it melted and it was gone except the hole in your chest, but your heart it was in cased in ice and there wasn't a hole it was sealed, but you cant leave yet we are still running test. “but i feel fine im just going to grab my stuff and go” “sir sit down” “no im
I felt pressure on my body as if the air pushed it down and the blood fluid up to my forehead and ripped my veins, it is the most painful experience I’ve ever had. My face started twitching and my hands started shivering. That was all I remembered
My mom was laying down next to me rubbing my head and trying to make me laugh. We were all waiting for my surgeon to come to take me in. At one point, the surgeon came and told me to kiss my parents and say goodbye, I got scared because I thought I wasn’t gonna see them again, I thought they were gonna leave me forever. I started crying and tried to run away. I was kicking, screaming, and making up excuses so that they can let me go. Two nurses hold me down and tried to calm me down. The surgeon put a mask on me and told me to count to ten. The mask smelled like cherries, I couldn’t resist not to smell it. The room was spinning and all of a sudden it was pitch
They then put pain medication through and in about five minutes my entire body had gone numb and my head was no longer in the right place. We then approached the hospital when they rolled me into the operating room. The doctor then came in with the anesthesiologist where she had given me something that put me under. I don't remember a single thing I just remember waking up and the nurse was wrapping my arm up and putting a sling on me. Eventually after what seemed like forever the doctor finally arrived back to my room to ask if we had any questions to which after that he had released me with a prescription for pain meds that we had later gotten from the medecine machine that was basically was just a vending machine for meds. My dad had left to go home and I then went with my mom to her house and on the drive she said that she had stayed to watch the operation because she sees operations taking place everyday so it wasn’t as gruesome as some of the things that she witnesses daily. I then asked how it went from her standpoint because I had no recollection of the events that had just taken place. She said that after I went under the doctor tried to place my elbow back into the joint but it had been so hard that with his strength he had been unable to do it alone so they had
I was crying of agony on how much pain it was and it was so much pain it felt like a knife pierced my skin for the first time. When I got to my lawn blood was gushing out of my leg, the best idea I had was put a bandaid over it and see if it’ll make it stop bleeding or slow it down. The bandaid
About two minutes past and he was pulling harder on my foot. Sharp pains came shooting up my leg again. While my leg was still in pain, I pulled backwards calmly and fiercely letting it go. It then was plunging through the air. Once it hit the doctor’s face you could hear a little thud.
Looking closer, I notice the floor filled with a thick, red liquid. Blood. I freeze. Is it my blood? I touch the parts of my body where I have pain.
It was extremely small, but it had a seat with a table next to it and a bunch of blood bags and vials on top. That is where my blood would be drawn. I sat down, freaking out as if my whole life was in danger, it was only going to be one needles poked inside of me, but i knew that it would be in my arm for a very long time. I sat there hyperventilating while my mom finally barked at me “Calm down Jaden! It’s not that big of a deal!”. That did not make me feel better at all, in fact it made things feel worse. I started freaking out even more because not only was I about to do something that I absolutely hated, but I was also being yelled and shamed by my mom. After what felt like hours, a nurse finally walked in and noticed that I was shaking tremendously. She started to show concern as if something were very wrong with me, but my mom told her “He is always like this, don’t worry”. Then that’s when things got awkward and more serious. The nurse started treating me like an eight year old and also mentioned that I should not be worried. “It was all be over soon” she exclaimed. She got out a needle that was
So About a year or maybe like I don’t know a year and a half ago I hit my leg with a trash bag no big deal right? Ha, Ha, WRONG! I unknowingly hurt my ankle bad enough to cut it open and cause it to bleed, bad. I had to go to the ER the second time in my life that I had to go. I think I was there for maybe an hour, I got about 15 stitches (probably less) but that didn’t hurt. Now what did hurt was getting the numbing medicine or morphine if we’re being specific but I carry on, It was in fact
Somberly she stated “It's certainly dislocated, but there also may be a fracture”. My mom gave me an assuring look, then we barged through the screen door. My mom, dad and I jumped in the van and quickly drove off to the hospital. The pain of my finger surged through my entire being. We had no clue where to find the hospital because we had never had an emergency here before.
Pivot points in life are when your life changes in one direction or another because of an experience. When thinking about these in my life i get drawn back to a time a couple of summers ago. This was the first time I went to EFY. This was a pivot point in my life because it changed my outlook on life. This experience impacted my life in a large way and changed my life forever.
thumb from top of the wound more blood shot out and was stopped only by the wall. Now what do I do? Oh no! I am going to have to tell mom and dad! I am in so much trouble right now. So I told my parents and was taken to the emergency room in Douglasville, GA.
We got to the hospital. They put in a bed and place me and my parents in a room. We were waiting for a guy to get out of surgery. The guys bone was sticking out of his leg. We waited for 3 hours.
I jumped off my bike, but my shoelace stayed stuck to the pedal. I fell off my bike awkwardly. As I hit the ground, I slid on the wet pavement and scraped my leg. The pain was terrible. It felt as if someone put a thousand swords in my leg.
It was Friday night, I took a shower, and one of my aunts came into the bathroom and told me that my dad was sick but he was going to be ok. She told me that so I did not worry. I finished taking a bath, and I immediately went to my daddy’s house to see what was going on. My dad was throwing-up blood, and he could not breath very well. One of my aunts cried and prayed at the same time. I felt worried because she only does that when something bad is going to happen. More people were trying to help my dad until the doctor came. Everybody cried, and I was confused because I thought it was just a stomachache. I asked one of my older brothers if my dad was going to be ok, but he did not answer my question and push me away. My body shock to see him dying, and I took his hand and told him not to give up. The only thing that I heard from him was, “Daughters go to auntie...
