We were finally getting married. I had never wanted a big wedding so we planned for a Justice of the Peace to officiate. Honestly, I didn’t care if family was there or not, but my mom had other ideas. We had decided on June 1st, Sebastian would be turning a year old a few weeks later. I was not dealing well with returning to work and we had settled on our date so I could quit my job and stay home with him but still allow both of us to have health insurance. We were to marry at the historic Independence courthouse. Mom invited the extended family and a few of her friends and of course Jerry’s mother flew up for the occasion. We were to have a reception at my great-aunt’s house, nothing fancy, just a couple of platters from Honey Baked Ham and then cake. …show more content…
As we shopped around, I realized it was going to be ridiculous to spend that kind of money on a cake for about twenty people. I found a lady who had a website with a few pictures of cakes she had made, her prices were reasonable and she said she would work with me on what kind of cake I had wanted. I had this amazing recipe for a tiramisu cake, it was for a huge wedding cake, so it would need to be scaled down, but that was easy to do. A price was settled upon and she lived just a few blocks from my aunt’s house, so the trip wouldn’t be long, therefore the chance of something happening was relatively

Finally after what seemed like years, I walked out to greet my new father-in-law and my new wife. I shook his hands as he gave away his youngest daughter to start our own family, and then I reached out for the arm of my bride. Together we walked the rest of the way down the aisle and stood in front of the pastor’s
There was very poor planning on my part. We were excited and happy and ready to be married. We are also both shy, private people and wanted to keep the ceremony low key, figuring we could get away with a simple courthouse ceremony without much fuss. My sister, my best friend, wasn 't able to clear the date due to a frankly terrible job situation, and was just as sad about it as I was. Holly 's wonderfully supportive and kind great uncle, who lives several hours away and had just endured a terrible year of loss, wasn 't able to attend

Once upon a time in Middle Earth in the vale between the misty and the white mountains, there was Rohan, the great kingdom of men. After a dreadful war, in which its king was killed, it was ruled by Eomer the blessed. The people called him that because he managed to restore Rohan to its previous glory and became a rich and fruitful land. Eomer was engaged to be married to you, his beloved for many years. You two were happy together and every day, dreamed of how to make your wedding extravagant for the people.
EPISODE 1 AGALEA: Aghhhh could this day be any longer! For weeks I have been waiting for this moment and it is finally here! I am truly looking forward to meeting Eryx at the ball tonight. Are you mother?
Our wedding cost a total of seventy-two dollars, this included the license and ceremony. I should also include the cost of what I call 'our wedding planner.' His name was Jake and he was a taxi driver, he charged us fifteen dollars and we tipped him fifteen for his extra duties, it was a special day. When we arrived in Las Vegas from Boulder our car started to over heat from the long drive through the hot desert. We decided to park it at the hotel. We hailed a cab and set off to find a place to get married. We had a deadline; our honeymoon was scheduled to begin the next day. The cab driver drove us past several different chapels giving us details about each one. After a brief survey of chapels we asked him to drop us off at the justice of the peace. The chapels just seemed too cheesy and besides, I had no real affection for Elvis. He dropped us off in front of a large, very official looking building to get the license and he directed us across the street to a small brick office where the ceremonies are held. I had the distinct feeling that he has provided this service a few times before in his career.
The happy couple, reverend celebrant, dear guests. The first wedding speech I ever gave was in 1958 when I married the groom's mother.
You're such an inspiration - spending your time... and energy on such a... good cause. The ladies are enjoying themselves. Have you handed out the other blankets?
The Queen wants to meet you,” she murmured into my ear. She steered me through the crowd and out a narrow side door into the hall, then into a jewel-like sitting room where the Queen reclined on a divan, a snuffling dog with a pushed-in face cradled on her lap. The Queen was beautiful, with glossy blond hair in a perfect coiffure, her delicate features cold and lovely. But there was also something a little odd about her face.
Crank up your super-shopper-mojo and go where the cakes are. Excepting, no supermarket cakes allowed! Look for a sweet little bakery, hopefully with a professional cake decorator. You deserve the bestest cake on the planet! Traditional Groom's Cakes
ten - The day I've been not really looking forward to is coming really quick. It all happened in a blink of my eyes. It's currently 1:15 A.M. Eight hours plus before Caleb's wedding day. Don't get me wrong, yes, I love seeing my brother being happy because-
The room was buzzing with excited chatter. Children running in between tables because they can’t sit still any longer. Then the room gets silent and you hear “please stand as we welcome the new Mr. and Mrs.”. Everyone stands in applause cheering for the happy couple who is smiling and holding hands. The best man made a rattle with his spoon and his glass and gave a touching speech about the newlyweds.
Many little girls dream of their big fairytale wedding with a prince charming of their own. We all have watched and grown up with the classic Disney movies that not only entertain children, but are influenced by what we see. I am guilty of wanting the fairytale wedding, big puffy gown, sparkles, handsome husband and our happily ever after. But what you don’t see is how much time and energy is put into creating your own fairytale wedding. After many months of planning and preparation for this day I was excited, nervous and anxious to carry on with the day that symbolized a new beginning with the love of my life. I was about to make a lifelong commitment to my one true love. Nothing I’ve done has taken so much preparation
