Being an FBI agent wasn’t easy and I never really had time for my family. My husband wasn’t a fan of my job but, he did the greatest job supporting me and our two daughters. We had to transfer from Florida to New York which was very stressful. “Babe!” I called out to my husband. I could hear him moan and groan on the bed. I chuckled and yelled out “we’re gonna be late, get up!” after yelling at my husband to wake up i didn’t hear anything else. I walked into our room to see him in bed sound asleep. I jumped on him and kissed him, “wake up Mr. Eric Woods or you’re gonna lose your job”. “I can’t do that with you on me” he chuckled. I got off of him and watched him walk to the bathroom, “the kids are at my mom’s, she’ll take them to school”. …show more content…
Collins, the Assistant Director of the FBI Counterterrorism Division and head of the covert FBI task force. I also met my partners, Agent Chris Kirkpatrick and Agent Lisa Marshalls. I already knew what to do because i was a transferred FBI profiler. My job was to study a criminal's behavior for clues using psychology to aid in capturing them. Agent Kirkpatrick came to me with an envelope, “Agent Woods, your first case is man named Michael Peterson.” “What’s up with him” i asked. “Well he’s a most wanted criminal, he says he’s got some information on some foreign attack” he explained. “So?” “He says he wont speak to anyone unless it’s you Agent Woods” he added. I chuckled, “ i dont know a Michael Peterson”. “Well he seems to know you Woods” he said . I walked over to a plastic box that had a man sitting inside, handcuffed to the chair. When he saw me, he started to smile which sorta freaked me out. “Agent Gwen Woods!” the old man yelled smiling from inside the box. I side-eyed him and said, “who are you Michael Peterson?” “Someone who knows you very well” “Well alright then,” i was even more freaked out, “what do you know about this foreign attack that’s supposed to happen at 3 o’clock this …show more content…
I turned around to run up the stairs but the man had something to say. “Watch your husband” he said. I turned back and looked at him then ran up the stairs. When i got upstairs, i went to Mr. Collins. “Mr. Collins, we need to get a Bombsquad at the Central Park fast!” i was really nervous. “Alright you and Chris get over there quick” “Copy” i said then ran out to get Chris and hopped in our SUV. When we got to the zoo, we showed our I.D. and got in. Me and Chris separated to search the park, i walked through the park. A little girl who looked like the exact copy of my daughter caught my attention, i walked towards the little girl realizing it was my daughter. I started to run towards her. “Emily?! What are you doing here honey?!” i was yelling frantically looking all over to make sure she was fine. “I have to sit here” she said. “Who put you here?” “I can’t say or you’ll die mommy” she said. I looked at her bookbag and started unzipping it and realizing there was a bomb inside with 2 minutes left to detonate. “Oh my God, where is your sister?” i tried to keep calm. “She’s on the other side of the park” Just then my phone started to ring, i picked it

Every person has an American Dream they want to pursue, achieve and live. Many people write down goals for themselves in order to get to their dream. Those never ending goals can range from academic to personal. As of today, I am living my dream. My American Dream is to become a nurse, travel to many places, have a family, and get more involved with God.

There are many bridges that a child must build in order to grow into a man. From a very early age being raised in the lower income part of Bolivar Tennessee, it was determined early on in life that I truly valued God, trust and integrity. For more than thirteen years in law enforcement and being the first African American Chief Investigator, I learned that God was showing favor in my life as a hardworking man. I have worked on many cases and as I look by over the years of solving so many crimes, it was the foundation of my Christianity that molded me into the man that I am today. In today’s law enforcement the general public has lost faith in the men and women that protect and serve them due to the cellphones audio and video that has flooded
Something happened my sophomore year of high school that little did I know would change my perspective, not only of myself, but life in general. I was looking for something new and exciting to enhance my high school existence and decided to give the Criminal Justice Club a try. I was familiar with the advisor of the club, but knew that the club had astigmatism for attracting those students who were just looking for something easy to do. I knew about the criminal justice system, but only what they show on Law and Order. However, I immediately fell in love, not only with the club but the entire prospect of Criminal Justice. I stepped into the club as if it were a place I belonged and easily became a leader. I was able to learn things the TV shows
“I don’t know,” he admitted. “I was hoping you and your friends could solve that mystery.”
“The Vista Lofts on Lady Street!” He bypassed me and grabbed his keys. He rushed out the door. “SHIT”, was all I could say. I already knew where he was going and what he was going to do.
It was the last Saturday in December of 1997. My brother, sister, and I were chasing after each other throughout the house. As we were running, our parents told us to come and sit down in the living room. They had to tell us something. So, we all went down stairs wondering what was going on. Once we all got down stairs, the three of us got onto the couch. Then, my mom said, “ Well…”
"What's going on? I just heard two week's worth of criminals were just murdered at once! It happened yesterday," he said.
Anyway, instead of me unpacking I decided to start playing with my barbie dolls and Wedding Girl. Sydne saw me playing instead of working so she decided to come over to me. She dashed across the room like a cheetah.
I confidently replied, “Nah!” Well, to my surprise, when I stepped on the gas, we didn’t go anywhere. All of a sudden, I began laughing hysterically and the rest of them chimed in, until, “BEEP” the light had turned green! “AAHH!” we shrieked. We finally

...eorgia. Last summer, right before I left to come to school, Precious was once again missing, and I was once again crying my eyes out. Instead of contacting our police or even driving down to Georgia, my parents contacted the police force in the area where the renters lived. They had an officer on dispatch drive by to see if they saw a little blonde Cocker Spaniel and there she was sitting in there lawn. The policeman told the people why he was there and quickly brought Precious home.
