Medical Sonographer, a career that uses ultrasound equipment to look along with testing parts of a patient's body, is a career I wish to pursue for the social skills I will gain, the amount of pay I will earn, in addition with the work setting I will be in. I have been wanting this career scene I was in sixth grade. What got my attention about this career is meeting as well as becoming close to my patients. The challenges I am concerned about this career is if the patient had a miscarriage. I want this job in this career field , because of the joy I will get when telling coupes that have wanted they will have one.

I think have normal hours are important ,because I would not have to work insane hours for example too much or not enough.That salary of the career is average or medium. I could receive a diseases or infections from the patient. I would be sitting or standing for long times. Those working conditions could cause me to have back or feet problems. Being around tragedy if a patient had a miscarriage. I would be working in a hospital that might cause me to work on weekends or holidays. If I did something wrong I could be sued for malpractice. If a patient was not feeling comfortable during pregnancy they might be miserable. Furthermore might become angry at me or unpleasant.
To help to be prepared to become a Medical Sonographer. Some high school classes that are helpful to pursuing this career. Classes that study the body, work with Computers, as well as heath. Diagnostic medical sonography is a profession where sonographers direct high-frequency sound waves into a patient’s body through the use of specific equipment to diagnose or monitor a patient’s medical condition. As described by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, this examination is referred to as an ultrasound, sonogram, or echocardiogram. The high-frequency sound waves emitted from the handheld device, called a transducer, bounce back creating an echo and therefore produce an image that can be viewed on the sonographers computer screen. This image provides the sonographer and physician with an internal image of the patient’s body that will be used in the diagnosis. The most familiar use of ultrasound is used in monitoring pregnancies and is provided by obstetric and gynecologic sonographers, who also provide imaging of the female reproductive system. Other types of sonography include; abdominal sonography, breast sonography, musculoskeletal sonography, neurosonography and cardiovascular sonography. Due to the vast nature of uses in sonography, most professionals study one field that they choose to specialize in. Diagnostic medical sonography is a rapidly growing field because of the increase in medical advances. The dream that I most desire in life is to become a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. I’ve always had an interest in the inner workings of the human body, but I also value life, and care for others, and my happiness is the happiness of others. Although this career has its bumps on the road just to see mothers face light up when they see the image of their unborn baby is such a breath taking experience. Based on the case, I came to conclude that this case is a reckless behavior issue. According to the case, we know that the sonographer knew that the policy is not to leave a patient who has cognitive issues alone while waiting for an escort. However, this sonographer decided to leave because his shift was over after he pages for the escorts. This is a reckless behavior because the sonographer knew that he could not leave a patient unattended or alone until other healthcare professional come and take the patient. He was aware that it was wrong to leave a cognitive patient alone. However, he chose to leave because his shift was over. From my perspective, I strongly agree that his action is not justifiable because he decided to leave the patient
Intellectual stimulation will allow me to think and be on my feet without ever getting bored at the job. Furthermore, security and economic rewards will make me feel as though I have a secure job with compensation for my duties in the workplace. Structure, acknowledgement, and convenience are important, but not as important.
