A Slice of Life Moment When I was a kid, I absolutely loved Disneyland. It was one of my favorite places to go for vacation, during my childhood years. I enjoyed getting away and experiencing the different shows, rides, and other things, I couldn’t enjoy while being at home. I remember getting excited when my family told me we were going to Disneyland. When I was about seven years old, my parents told me we were going on vacation to Disneyland, the very next day, and I was so excited. I didn’t sleep that night because I was wide awake thinking about all the fun rides. The next morning, my family and I, started packing our bags for our family vacation. All of us were moving quickly, trying to make sure we had everything we needed, for our …show more content…
These shows are very crowded, they’re at night, so it’s very dark. I remember walking to the firework show, in a big crowd of people with my family. I got distracted because I saw a guy with cotton candy. I wanted to get some, so I looked back to ask my papa if he could buy me some and I didn’t see him anywhere and I instantly became frightened. I started searching around to see if I saw anyone in my family but it was too dark and crowded. I was only seven years old, so I didn’t know what to do but cry. I had no clue where to go, or how to find my family. As I’m walking around crying, I caught one of the amusement park workers attention. She walked over and asked what was wrong. I told her I had lost my family because I got distracted, by a man with cotton candy and she instantly acted. She grabbed me by my hand and walked me over to the high point bridge to look for my family. While I was crying and searching, I saw my momma and daddy. I told the nice woman I saw them and she took me where they were. My family and I were so relieved. My parents thanked the nice woman and we went to watch the firework show. After the firework show, my papa made sure I got my cotton
Disneyland marked the onset of theme parks in the nation, which was carved out of a fantasy tale and it has been the leader for 60 years. And, there was virtually no competition to the attraction quotient that attracted people and tourists to visit the theme park.
As every American knows Disneyland, "Happiest place on earth", but many people do not know much about the person behind Disneyland, Walt Elias Disney. Disney is best known for his many successes, such as famous movies like The Lion King, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, and The Little Mermaid. Disney is also known for the most famous amusement park in America, Disneyland and California Adventure (depends on who you are asking, Disneyland is the original park), for all ages to forget about reality, for children to be children, and adults to become the children they once were. However, people from around the world only see and hear of Disney's successes. What people are forgetting is how Disney became famous. As a child Disney had
The adventure began at the high school where we all met in the afternoon around one o’ clock to board the huge traveling buses that would take us on our journey to Disney world. The ten hour ride was ridiculously long and almost felt never ending, but we finally arrived at our hotel in Orlando at about one in the morning. I remember we all rushed into
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
Growing up as an only child I made out pretty well. You almost can’t help but be spoiled by your parents in some way. And I must admit that I enjoyed it; my own room, T.V., computer, stereo, all the material possessions that I had. But there was one event in my life that would change the way that I looked at these things and realized that you can’t take these things for granted and that’s not what life is about.
A calm crisp breeze circled my body as I sat emerged in my thoughts, hopes, and memories. The rough bark on which I sat reminded me of the rough road many people have traveled, only to end with something no one in human form can contemplate.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly that morning. Dad loaded the luggage and packed the cooler. He even packed the extra pillows. My family was very happy as we prepared for our trip. I was twelve years old and my brother, Jobie, was ten. My dad had told us for years about his first trip to Disney Land in California when he was a young Marine.
The music, the people, the food, the castle, My dream is to work at DisneyLand because of the amazing disney characters. If I worked at disneyland I would want to have the amazing dream of seeing the castle, seeing the characters, and the obstacles of working in disneyland.I think it would be a dream come true.
My family goes to Disney World at least every four years. Disney, being my family’s go-to destination for vacation, is always packed with tourist from all over the world and is always has humid weather conditions. Sometimes I wonder why we go since we have obviously out grown the amusement park age group. Despite out growing Disney World, many memories have been made from all the trips to Disney World. From walking through rain back to the monorail stations to posing with Belle from Beauty and the Beast at a character dining restaurant. From all the memories made at Disney World, the most vivid thing I can remember is when I lost my family in a sea of people in the Magic Kingdom for less than a minute.
It was 2015 in early August and the my father just told the rest of my family that he booked a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. We were so excited that I started planning what attractions we were going to see, how much time we would spend at each attraction or park so we can fit everything in. My sister started packing and made a list of things she was going to buy.
When we got settled into our hotel all I wanted to do was go to the theme park and begin to have fun, but my dad had said it was too late to go. Even though we had agreed not to go to the theme parks we still decided to go to Downtown Disney for dinner.
My parents and I kept it a secret to my little sister, who had no clue whatsoever that we were going to Magic Kingdom until we reached the parking lot. This trip was very special to my sister, because she loves the Disney princesses and characters. Because of that, the first thing we did once we entered the park was “meet” some of the princesses. It was also very special to my sister because it was the first time she went to Disney World actually remembering what she did there. The first time we went, she was not even a year old, so she barely remembered what happened and the experiences she felt.
SURPRIZE ! If you ever been to DisneyWorld, you would know how crazy cool it is. But for me I never got that experience, my parents said I went when I was 3 but who can remember that! And that's when I got the idea for summer vacation to.
My family was in Florida for my dad’s work conference and we decided to go spend a few days at Disney World. I was four years old and actually don’t recall much of that trip. There was one experience that will always be dear to my heart. This experience was the time I first fell in love with the magic of Disney... “Come on, Mommy! Let’s go!
When I was a young child I would love to hear my parents tell me that we were going on a trip. I would be full of excitement, because I knew that we would be going to a place that I had never seen before. My parents, my brother, and I would pack our luggage and venture out in our small gray minivan. Three of my most cherished memories in our minivan are when we went to Disney World, the beach, and the mountains.
