Imagine being in a car ride to Sea World 2 hours long and so excited to go on the roller coasters and look at amazing animals . Wait, I don't want to spoil it so let's get into my amazing experience. So you know how I didn’t want to spoil it I am here let's talk about it. The number one thing we did was, we went on Manta it is an amazing ride with its high peaks and just a ride that makes you feel really funky inside . Next, we went to go see the aquarium it had me feeling so jumpy inside because all of the amazing types of fish it was so awesome. The third thing we did was we went to go pet the stingrays and they had this really soft feeling and I liked it. It was like touching cotton candy before its gets sticky. There was a guy
Among the many things that individuals enjoy doing with their families, visiting amusement parks is at the top of the list. Sea World is a multi-billion dollar chain of marine animal parks, aquariums, and animal theme parks. (Wikipedia) When people are watching the rehearsed performances that the animals and the trainers do, the animals and the trainers seem to be happy. Witnessing the interaction between the animals and the trainers can remind individuals of the beauty of nature and it serves as entertainment.
When I was six years old, my parents took me to SeaWorld for the first time. I remember clearly watching the Shamu show and sitting in the splash zone ending up soaked in water by the end. But I also distinctly remember wondering how an animal so big and beautiful could ever be happy in such a small tank, so far away from home. The animals could never possibly experience the joy they would out in the wild where they belonged. And even a six year old wasn’t blind to that fact.
As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. The next day we woke up earlier to go to the dolphin cove. The bus was an hour late, but the wait
We started to touch them and the starfish had such a unique texture. Afterwards, we washed our hands and headed outside and joined a line that was heading into a big, blue tent. We went inside and we were both surprised and excited to see tons of different-looking and sized stingrays swimming graciously throughout the pool. Everybody leaned over and reached their hand in the water, hoping that their hand would touch a back of a stingray. At first, I was scared to put my hand in the water because I didn’t want to accidentally touch the tail of the stingray even though they removed the barbs so they couldn’t sting you. Kristen didn’t have any trouble touching them, but for me on the other hand, it took a little longer. Kristen really wanted me to touch one so she grabbed my hand and slowly put it into the water. Having my sister there with me made me feel a lot less scared. We saw a small stingray heading our way, so Kristen lowered my hand and then my hand touched the back of the stingray. I was surprised of how smooth it was. It was as smooth as a fleece blanket. I was really happy at the end that Kristen encouraged me to touch one. After that I was able to touch a few more, except there was a big black covered sting ray with white spots that was probably five times bigger than the rest of them, that I was scared to touch and so was Kristen. We exited the tent and got our picture taken with the view of the city and Lake Michigan.
...headed home. On our way home we stopped by the glass museum. It was amazing it was filled with beautiful glass art pieces. I almost broke some but I avoided that. There was this stand that we went to and it was a guy sculpting melted glass. It was so fascinating how swiftly and fast he did it, he made it look so easy.
Once we got back to the Gulf of Mexico on the second day, my family got to swim with the dolphins! It was amazing! Before we got in
So the next morning we went to the Aquarium. The Shedd is absolutely huge! We spent about 4 hours looking at the 32,000 different species they had! We went to a water show later that day. The trainers did tricks with dolphins and seals. The man with the seal even had the seal come up out of the water. The seal sat only about five feet away from us! The seal would copy what the man did exactly. If the man would wave, the seal would. If the man would walk, the seal would follow. It was so fun seeing that take place right in front of me!
So have you ever been to Disney World? Most of you probably have been there. I didn’t go to Disney World until November of last year with my family. I wasn’t sure what it would be like, but it was incredible. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great experience because I was with my family.
The next morning we had to pack up our stuff because it was time for us to go. When we put our stuff in the car and got in. My four-year-old little brother started to cry because he loved the slides on Leopard Cove. We had to make him be quiet so my mom gave him a bag chips which worked. My mom also got souvenirs including an elephant bobble head and a Kalahari bell. I had to get ready for another gruesome trip back home. So instead of staying awake and watch all the sites that we were passing I just slept the rest of the ride. At least now I had even more memories to talk about and I learned something new which was that not all things are as scary as they seem to
Growing up as an only child I made out pretty well. You almost can’t help but be spoiled by your parents in some way. And I must admit that I enjoyed it; my own room, T.V., computer, stereo, all the material possessions that I had. But there was one event in my life that would change the way that I looked at these things and realized that you can’t take these things for granted and that’s not what life is about.
We woke up early the next morning to start heading towards the river. When we got there I was happy to finally be out of the truck. I was ready and prepared to get in the water. Especially because it was so hot!
I had just got my camcorder for my birthday, so I filmed everything I saw. My family and I went up to the top as we watched the ship sail off. They pushed us off the dock and we said our bon voyages. The first day was a sailing day at sea. I was used to the thirty degree Tennessee and now we were in seventy degree weather. We lay out on the deck and I swam in the pool. Dinner was my favorite part. You can order whatever your heart desires and the dessert was splendid. Though the dessert cleansed my sweet craving I enjoyed the bread just a little more. The French bread on the cruise is the part I miss the most to this day. The first port day arrived and our adventure was touring the Mayan Ruins. I was an unhappy child, so I was not amused with the tour. It was extremely hot and we just looked at these pyramids. I was uninterested for sure. My favorite part of the tour was being able to swim in this hole. Apparently the hole did not have a bottom from what scientist have found. There were the little menos who sucked your feet. It felt weird, but the water was refreshing. Our last port day was in Cozumel. We planned to go zip lining and
The second day we decided to take a ferry to another island that was a bit more like the city and had many more stores and we went out to eat there and got a souvenir each personally I picked out a hat while my brother and two cousins got rubber band shooters. After shopping we went to a little restaurant and had some delicious pizza that was very thin and saucy.after this we took the ferry to our beach house where all 11 of us slept, I was on an air mattress and kinda got lucky I didn't have to share one like my brother and sister because I kick in my sleep and they don't want to sleep with me when I do that.

When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
