It’s not very comfortable, lying here. The dirt on my face gets a little bit warm sometimes. I think it must be daytime, there must be sunlight. But underneath me it’s cold, and kind of wet, with things crawling around. (Pause) Maybe you think I shouldn’t talk about this, maybe you think you shouldn’t have to listen. Kids get killed all the time, what’s the big deal? (Laughs) Kids really do get killed all the time. I should know. (Pause) We’re supposed to have these happy childhoods, right? We’re supposed to have loving moms and dads and sweet neighborhoods and life is supposed to be clean and nice and everything. Nothing bad ever happens to us, right? Thats us. That's who we are. When we were little we reminded them of something, maybe a time when they were little kids and everything was fine. But when we get older we start to get sexuaol and we start to want to drink. We don’t don't want to stay home as often and we don't need them as much. And they don’t seem to like that as much. The neighborhood doesn’t seem so nice, and all the people in it don't seem so sweet, and all the kids are older and hanging out together. (pause) Anyways. It turns out to be a world where people get killed. Like I did. (pause) I mean, i already knew some kids who got killed before me, in Glendale, these parents had their kids in a daycare center, and this man just walks in and shoots all of them, every one of them, and their teacher, and the person who made their lunch.
