They were always there when they were needed. True friends are there even when it’s not convenient. People want friends like the friend’s people had a long time ago. In this generation, people don’t know if they are dealing with a loyal friend, a convenient friend, or a frenemy.

Loyalty is a hard quality to find in a friend, so once loyalty is found that friend is usually in it for life. Faraway friends are the ones we find ourselves turning to in our darkest hour of need and the ones that we would step into battle with. Marion Winik perfectly explains the importance
When making friends, you must choose the right ones by observing the person's qualities and how they behave. If the person behaves in a bad way, further away this person may lead you down the wrong path and get you into a lot of trouble. Incommensurate, If the person behaves in a good way, then they may be a good friend to have and lead you down the right path. Consequently, friendship is a very good thing to have with many positive and sadly, negative
First, we will talk about the kind of friend who we meet every day, the convenience friends. Viorst described them in her book: “these are the neighbor or office mate or member of our carpool whose lives routinely intersect with ours.” (1). That is my good neighbor, George, who always say hello to me every morning. We often talk to each other when we are cleaning up our car on Sunday. We only have casual talks as we do not mention about our own families and personal stories. Besides that, there is nothing between us, just the neighborhood. Base on Viorst opinion, convenient friends is those that we would not have been friend, only cross each other occasionally. These people are not really friends in the sense of it. These are people we get to relate with out of convenience, we would not have talk to them too much about ourselves. Even Viorst admitted that: “But we don’t with convenience friends, ever come too close or tell too much: We maintai...
Take two kids, for example, who have been best friends since the first grade. Later in high school, one of the two friends is heading downhill with their life. This is a time when the friend needs the other friend the most. If the other friend isn't there for them, then it can be really hard. We depend on our friends to help us out.
Some people may believe that a true friendship is an unobtainable goal because the friends have to see the other as honest, virtuous, and worthy. They will remain friends as long as the friends remain virtuous and worthy in each other’s eyes. Some people may believe that true friendships are rare because people who are virtuous and honest are rare. Talking about true friendship, Aristotle states, “Such friendships are of course rare, because such men are few. Moreover, they require time and intimacy” (Aristotle, cited in St. Peter’s List, 2016.
We trust our friends not to betray us, and to share our happiness with us. One never

Loyalty can only come from the heart, not from wanting to be a nice person. A loyal friend should support the friendship no matter what (Loyal- Dictionary Definition, 2016). If loyalty is missing other values in the friendship will suffer (cite). Loyalty between two people it is the key characteristic of what holds the friendship together. A good loyal friend pops up in life when everyone else is walking out of it (Doris Ann, 2011). With a loyal friend someone can laugh, weep, never feel bad about exposing yourself, and most definitely is someone worth praying with (Ann, 2011). Friendship with a best friend is just like a four leaf clover, very difficult to find and very lucky to have in life. Good loyal friends are like stars in the sky, they cannot be seen, but they are always there (Ann, 2011). As Doris Ann quotes, “ I asked God for water, he gave me an ocean. I asked God for a flower, he gave me a garden. I asked God for a tree, he gave me a forest. I asked God for a friend and he gave me you. Be loyal to your friends, and as always you must live well to be well” (Ann, 2011). Ann also quotes, “ If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn’t dare to follow, I’d be at the bottom to catch them when they fall”. (Ann 2011). A loyal friend should always have genuine love for the
She doesn’t know this, but she changed my life. She was there for me when it seemed like no one else was. When most of my friends were dissolving around me and I just didn’t feel like I could do anything right, she was there, and she made everything seem okay. It didn’t matter that I was inevitably going to graduate with a GPA a tenth of a point lower than I wanted, or that my director told me that he was disappointed in me because I just didn’t seem focused lately, or that my other friends just weren’t talking to me anymore. It didn’t matter because she was there and she made me feel safe. She’s my best friend, and I love her and admire her for so many different reasons.
One of the most important details in a friendship is to never leave or forsake the other. A friend is also loyal, for example in the movie Lord of the Rings, Froto and Sam Wise had a wonderful fellowship. They lived in peace and in one accord. Also in the movie, gandalf sent froto on a mission. Froto was scared and he didn’t want to go on the journey by himself.
When you spend time with friends you will notice that each one has a special personality that is different from anyone else. Friends have different traits and characteristics that create their individual personalities. For example, a good friend will show signs of a sense of humor, great advice, and honesty. Friends are very important to have in our lives because they are the backbone and support system when we face obstacles that are tough in our lives. On a conscious level, we rarely spend much time actually thinking about and classifying our friends. However, since I was a small child, my mother taught me to recognize and appreciate various types of friends. I have discovered that there are three different types of friends. I group them according to how well I know them and how well they know me. We encounter each type of friend everyday, whether in school, home, or at the gym. First, there are the "pest friends"- general acquaintances. Next, there are "guest friends"- social partners. Lastly, we have "best friends"- our true friends.
Friendship is a relationship that all the individuals can create by themselves. Though it is not a god gifted relationship like that of the relationship of a mother, father, sister, brother or any of the other family but still it is one of the best relations an individual can possess. People who have true friends consider themselves as the luckiest individuals on earth.
In life we come across many people. Some will hate us while others will adore us. The ones who hate us can be referred to as enemies and the ones who show us adoration are referred to as friends. There are three types of friends. They are the aquaintinces we make in school, the friends we loose as one grows, and best friends who may stray, but never too far away.
A friend is someone difficult to find. A friend is someone you can always count on when times are tough. The dictionary's definition of a good friend is a person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. A good friend is there when you are struggling. For example, when a boy breaks your heart a good friend walks you through it and offers a shoulder to cry on. According to Bree Neff, a good friend is someone who is trustworthy, doesn't talk behind your back, listens to your problems, gives good advice and tries to lend humor along with his or her support. There are also bad friends, those who pretend to care and then turn around gossiping and starting drama. Good and bad friends are all around you, involved in your everyday life. To find good friends you should look for such traits as being kind, trustworthy, loyal and dependable.
