Recommended: Ways school impacts on society

What’s important to me is being the best me that I can. To not be told I’m wrong, just to conform to those around me. Am I just a carbon copy of what people want? If I am not being true to myself, then what am I? Acceptance for who I am is both equally important and desirable to me. Just because I look different from the norm, does not mean that I will act any less civil towards anyone or anything. Why should I be something I am not just to make others happy and myself miserable? It is my hope to meet others with similar interests as myself in the near future, because I did not have that much in common with anyone in high school. High school limited my opportunities to interact with people like me. There are three basic ideals that guide the way I live my life. Firstly, I believe in treating others the way I would like to be treated and not the way they would treat me. Secondly, I believe in being true to myself and allowing other to be themselves around me. Lastly, I try to do my best in all situations and give my best effort in accomplishing tasks. My values affect my business life exactly the same as my personal life. I am kind, friendly and respectful to everyone I meet. I believe that if I show someone kindness I will receive kindness in return. I take what I learn on the job as well as in the real world and apply it to both scenarios. Even at work I try my best to show my individuality, through my makeup and hair. I still keep the makeup work appropriate, but most of the time I just wear a funky clip in my hair, for which I get a lot of wonderful comments. I like being a fun person.
