Based on my definition of success and the steps I have taken to achieve success, I am a successful student. Being a successful student, I understand that a great deal of effort and dedication contributes towards having a rewarding outcome. It is also understandable that students must make many sacrifices in order to gain satisfactory results; connecting with others and maintaining a social life adds onto attaining success. For instance, there was a moment before winter break where I became extremely overwhelmed by all the assignments, and the only thing that relieved me from having a nervous breakdown was to unwind with my friends and discuss my problems. There were also many other times that I was stressed and lost sleep over completing assignments to the point of perfection, but eventually I noticed the importance of being a well-rounded student through socializing. I realized that a balanced lifestyle helped me achieve my objective while also relishing on other attributes. Being able to adapt to different things permitted me to focus on academics while taking account of my personal struggles; this allowed me to get contentment with myself and those around me. Benefits from being successful now will assist me in having a good future and allow me to grow not just as student, but also individually. As I identify those goals and priorities, it benefits
Success can be an extremely broad subject. There is an abounding amount of different views on what the “true” definition of success is. Personally, I believe that success is finding happiness. Success is waking up in the morning and not having to worry about whether or not the bills are going to be paid this month. Success is having a job that you enjoy going to every day. Success is having friends and family who love and support you. Success does not mean that one has to be exceedingly rich or have a lakeside mansion. As long as they are happy, they have succeeded in life.
My philosophy of success, is me growing into the person I want to become and being comfortable with the choices I decide to make in life. Success is not something I can achieve overnight, it’s something I must plan for then proceed to working hard for it as well. Without hard work, there isn’t anything successful about the job I want to get done or the job I wish to get done. Doing anything without hard work and dedication, and expecting the best outcome is not success; it’s mediocrity. Being mediocre/ will only allow me or anyone else to have a ‘Victim’s Mindset.’

Subsequently, success can also be defined as the attainment of wealth, position or honors. Therefore, success varies from one person to another; it can be a personal aspect as having a pregnancy, academic success, business or political success. However, for one to attain success, whether in an academic, business, political or a private setting, one must put in place strategies that will aid him or her and act as a bridge towards the accomplishment of success. A good strategy must give an overall direction of the intended goals, it is within the sources and opportunities of the desired goal and it advances
Success can mean to overcome storms of life. Being dedicated to something will play one of the most important roles in reaching success, and who could understand the meaning of success if they did not experience disappointment. 'One has achieved success who has lived well and laughed often.'; This quote seems to sum up what is meant by success. If you are able to laugh often and much then you have definitely achieved happiness. The idea of living well, though, is a very broad statement. In order, then, to define success in relation to this statement, we must first define what it means to live well. There are three levels of success, in my opinion: societal success, personal success, and academic or professional success. If someone can achieve all of these three levels of success, they are someone who has lived well.
Success only truly comes with being happy. Happiness and success are the accomplices of one another. Someone cannot have accompanies without the other. Happiness brings success, and success brings even more happiness. Success, in the dictionary, is defined as the achievement of something desired planned or attempted. Therefore, success cannot be judged by anyone than oneself. It is a personal thing. It is the realization of goals, desires or plans made by one 's self. It is not measurable and yet is something we always use to compare others or appraise someone 's worth. Success, in one form or another, is something that someone should always be striving for. For some people it is something they will do subconsciously, and for others it will be something they will constantly labor for. Because success is something that is different for everyone, it is best that they measure their personal success by their sense of self worth instead of others. To have succeeded is to have lived, as someone wanted; ' it is to have lived well and laughed

There is no right or wrong because people define success based on their own background and experience. In today’s world, success is a word that is defined differently in everyone’s dictionary. Some people perceive success to depend on how much money an individual makes, person’s status in the society, and how well they can flaunt; but I think, success depends on the inner drives that satisfy own desire, the value of an experience than a product, and one’s ability to be self-gratified. In this era, success is defined based on how much money a person makes. Society thinks that if a person makes lots of money, he or she must be a successful person. Also, individuals who are given high status in the society appear to live a very successful life; the world considers them as role models. Similarly, those who flaunt their wealth create the impression

Throughout my life I have always found success when accomplishing one of my goals. When thinking of a goal I would want to accomplish, I usually look at the things I need improvement in. I would refer to myself as a generous, compassionate procrastinator. I would also call myself a hard worker, but just not school wise, work wise also. I am a very giving person, rather it 's giving someone my undivided attention to talk or if someone needs something. I love helping others out because there will always be a positive outcome. I can be very compassionate to people who I know. If their feeling down I try not to so much sympathize with them but to empathize with them. One thing that is very important to me is becoming successful. My personal definition of success is to accomplish something I wanted to accomplish. There isn’t a limit to success.

Is there someone you know that is wealthy and prominent? Do they demonstrate the characteristics of a successful person in today’s society? Media today has effectively convinced our society into accepting an untrue, even possibly hazardous definition of success. Even though Webster’s dictionary defines success as “achieving wealth, respect, and fame,” the definition of success is different for everyone. Society wants us to accept that having money, having big house, and owning multiple cars is the key to happiness, and henceforth, success. This is a lie; success is not having a large amount of money nor does it have to deal with fame.

Success, everyone want it, few achieve it. Success is perspective, it could mean obtaining an education, being able to take over the family, achieving one’s life goals or making money.
