Recommended: Essay on humor

Life goes on How can a student write a perfect personal essay? Personal essay should have five paragraphs including introduction and conclusion. It also knows as three body paragraphs essay because personal essay generally have only three-body paragraph. It will be good to have same words count in all five paragraphs. Reader may or may not get full idea about the essay in the introduction. Essay should not be too long or too short and should be focus on the main point of view. My theme is about true-life changing experiences in various stage of my life. For example, when I was 10years old, my dream was to get admission in better school for quality education. I felt one of the luckiest people in the world when I got admission in my expected school. It brought huge change in my life by setting up goal and having opportunity to competition with better students. Personal essay should have three major points: brainstorming, a specific event and keep reader attention in the essay.

If reader will not get enough interest to read the essay then reader will not read through whole essay, which means it will be waste of writer's and reader's time. Writer may keep reader attention by writing a funny, emotional, creative or horror story base on reader age, culture, believe or nature. For example, if I am going to write an essay for teenager then I will decide to write about funny topic, picture for visual aid and commonly use worlds, which help to keep reader attention in the essay. When I was teenager, I used to read comic books, which has many color combinations visual connection between story characters and their actions. Superman, Batman and detective comics' books are the great example. However, now I do not like to read the comic books as before because I know all super natural power cratered or written by

    Although a personal statement is supposed to be mine, in the back of my head, I was thinking that an admission officer would look at this sheet of paper I had written and base my admission on it.     Scott Hightower’s poem “Father” could be very confusing to interpret. Throughout almost the entirety of the poem the speaker tries to define who his father is by comparing him to various things. As the poem begins the reader is provided with the information that the father “was” all of these things this things that he is being compared to. The constant use of the word “was” gets the reader to think ‘how come the speaker’s father is no longer comparable to these things?’ After the speaker reveals that his father is no longer around, he describes how his father impacted him. Details about the father as well as descriptions of the impacts the father has distraught on the speaker are all presented in metaphors. The repetitive pattern concerning the speaker’s father and the constant use of metaphors gives the reader a sense that the speaker possesses an obsessive trait. As the reader tries to interpret the seemingly endless amount of metaphors, sets of connotative image banks begin to develop in the reader’s mind. Major concepts that are expressed throughout the poem are ideas about what the speaker’s father was like, what he meant to the speaker, and how he influenced the speaker.
