Accomplishments mark a new beginning for many people. It also ends adolescence to begin a journey to adulthood. An accomplishment and event that took place in my life was obtaining and maintaining a job. I became employed by family friends at a local pizza restaurant and soon was commended for being one of the most productive employees. I cook, clean, prep and wait on customers all at the same time. Each week I work about 25 hours with exceptions during vacations, which I work around 30 hours. After one year at my workplace I was trusted to become a key holder and shift manager. I also matured into a trainer for new employees. This occupation of mine is seen as an accomplishment in my eyes because it has transformed me in continuously different
One of the biggest accomplishments that I feel I have achieved is being a captain for my soccer team when I was in grade 9 (overseas). Back when I was in Ethiopia, soccer was one of the biggest things we loved growing up. Soccer was the only thing available as a sport in our school, so being a captain of a team was kind of a big deal. My time as a captain taught me a lot of things about what being in a position of power means.
The successful achievement of a task: an accomplishment. There are different ways a person can be successful and for each person, it may be a different achievement or task they have completed. For me, it was getting into Mr. John’s through the technical academy my junior year of high school. In case you don’t know, the tech academy allows you to leave school after fourth period and go to a college credited class, such as engineering, firefighting, and, of course, cosmetology. Cosmetology is something I’ve been interested in doing since as long as I can remember. My freshman year, I made a plan for myself to be in tech my junior and senior year and then continue to Paul Mitchell to further my career goals. Although I did not continue Mr. John’s into my senior year for personal reasons, my plan was still to continue into Paul Mitchell Schools. I consider this to be my greatest achievement because it launched me into schooling for my biggest passion. With my acceptance into this program, I received an early start, which gives me the opportunity to graduate
As once said by Maggie Winterfeldt, “Michael Jackson was one of the most widely beloved entertainers and profoundly influential artists of all-time, and he left an indelible imprint on popular music and culture” (Bio). Jackson is an influential icon, both onstage and offstage. He was a true humanitarian and is widely known for the significant amount of charities that he contributed to (Eastel 13). He was known as the King of Pop because of the amount of talent that he had, and the impact that he had on music history. He had extraordinary talent and a unique style that he astonished fans with throughout his life.
My greatest accomplishment is my family. It may not seem like an accomplishment to most people, but in my eyes it is huge. I had the impression growing up that if my parents did not seem happy, how could I ever possibly make marriage work for me. By the late 1980’s when I was in high school, I swore I would never marry and never have kids. Eventually I did change my mind, reluctantly I might add. We as humans learn to live by example and my parents were not always the best examples. I come from a military family, my father was in the Navy for 23 years. Leaving my Mom to raise my younger brother and me. So every three years we felt like a single parent family when sea duty rolled around. I always felt like my Father choose to leave us when he went on a cruise for six month. Now I understand that it was a necessity in order for my parents to stay together. In a since, what I’m saying is the separation eventually made us a better family. The heart sometimes needs to miss someone in order to know how it feels about them. Sometime my Mother and I both wish my Father would go away for a little while. I would not object to him take my husband with him as long as they come back. The one person who was able to get me to consider settling down was a former Marine. That I’m still married to after ten years and three children.
Barack married Michelle Robinson in 1992, they have two children Malia Ann (1999) and Sasha (2001). After graduating from the University of Chicago in 1991, Obama worked as a civil rights lawyer and also a part time law professor at University of Chicago Law school. “When he graduated, opulent law firms flung their doors open to him. He was offered jobs at Wall Street firms, as well as a clerkship on the U.S. Supreme court” (Sapet,74). In 1991-1996 worked his way up the political ladder. “In 1996 he ran as democratic seat and was elected Illinois State Senator” (Sapet,
I have not had a single accomplishment that is worth writing about but I feel that my college completion will be one accomplishment that I will be most proud. I feel that I am taking one step forward in life that will make me become a more successful person.
The president of the United States has always been a distinguished man. He has always been a strong speaker, and has strived for the good of the country. He has made good and bad decisions, but has stood by them. The title of president has belonged to generals, soldiers, farmers, lawyers and teachers (List of Presidents of the United States by Occupation). Now as the next election approaches, popularity vote is leaning towards… a reality television star?
My biggest accomplishment in school is when I graduated high school early despite what others said. I decided that public high school was not for me, because of all of the distractions I had. So I begged my mom to transfer me to butterflied high school. I went one time a week to meet with my teacher were I turned in all my homework and took my tests. I feel that going to butterflied helped me become more
During my life I had some accomplishments. But, I will tell you the truth I cannot call them as my great accomplishments. At this point of my life I had the two greatest events. My first event was my high school graduation. The second event, which was the biggest and the most unforgettable was my wedding day.
I have the ability to balance work and time to relax. It is very important to me that I do what I love and love what I do. When an individual is doing what they are meant to do, they realize their potential and purpose in life. I feel that this correlates to me in my life now, because I chose to come to Limestone to play softball and get an education as a Health Care Administrator. I am satisfied everyday in both of these important goals and reward myself for the accomplishments that I achieve to reach those goals. I one-day hope to contribute my skills and talents to my work that will be rewarding to me and people I work for. I hope to attain job satisfaction and many other important components needed for my path to becoming successful in the

I found out about the program from, who attended the program. Although I have had several accomplishments that I am very proud of, the accomplishment that comes first to mind was winning first place in a series of three chess tournaments where excellent performance in the previous tournament is required to gain entrance into the next. In the first tournament I competed against members of my school in a round robin format which was held over several weeks. I ranked among the top four from this tournament as a result was eligible to move on to the next tournament where I faced the top placing students from other schools in my county.
I didn’t try to write a milestone essay at first because I assumed milestone meant something great that happen which made your life changed significantly. But now I know that it doesn’t necessarily mean that. It could be anything bad or good—or even neutral I suppose, if that’s even possible—that has a significant change in your life. It’s that or I’m just trying to think of a really good excuse. Either way, now that the disclaimers are done I shall begin.
Prompt: Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud and how does it relate to the person you are? I stared at the vagrant, worn out man on the side of the corner and I couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing that Christmas holiday. I forever am known for my tender heart and compassion towards people I am unfamiliar with.
Well, as I began to get older I started to achieve more and more. When was 8 I started washing dish. That was a great achievement to me back then, but now I regret it. Now my mother makes me wash dish all the time. When I go to other people house they want me to wash their dishes. Now I hate washing dish. After learning how to wash
