The bus is short and only has seating for eighteen passengers. It is white on top, black on the bottom with a12 inch wide green stripe along the side of the bus and the letters K A T S, boldly displayed on the green stripe. There are 3 steep stairs to climb, to get on the bus. The day I rode it was raining and cold. The windshield wipers ticked back and forth, clearing the wind- shield of rain. There were three passengers, all of them where white; two men, one woman. The older gentleman was casually dressed. I think he was in his 60’s (I’m guessing, because he was gray headed). He sat in the third seat on the drivers’ side of the bus. Right across the aisle from him was a man, in his mid- 30’s, dressed in an olive green army surplus jacket. The woman on the bus was sitting in the front seat, behind the driver. She was wearing a pink wind breaker and was carrying a matching pink umbrella. She was approximately 50 yrs old and very thin. Wrinkles marked the corner of her eyes .I think she had a brain injury of some kind. Her eyes didn’t seem to focus on anything and she had applied her lipstick in such a way that it had smeared to one side of her mouth.
Shortly into the ride, the bus driver stopped and picked up an older heavy set black woman. The driver asked the woman “is it not too wet out there for yah, Lois?’ she responded with a big smile and said “how you doin’ Bill?” They knew each other and were on a first name basis. I came to find out, the driver “Bill” knew just about every ones name. Lois was wearing a ‘Burger King’ uniform and cap, she appeared to be going to work. Around the corner we picked up ‘Dwayne’.

When we got close to where I caught the bus, Bill asked me if I was getting off there or if I wanted to ride the rest of the way to the downtown transit office. I chose to take my leave and thank him for the ride. He responded with ‘anytime’ and I believe he meant it.
All kinds of people ride public transportation. People that are young and old, black and white, men and woman, some well dressed some not. I can guess that some would rather ride the bus than ask for a ride from friends, while others may no longer have the ability to drive themselves. I personally will ride the bus again. I liked the comradery and the idea that if I told Bill my name he most likely, would call me by my name the next time I rode.
...use. This was customary for Richard to do. As the young suitor made his way up the steps Helen greeted him by saying, Richard I’m glad that you could make it. Helen retired to her room with her suitor and they remained there for the some time.

It was late dusk when the bus pulled into some little town outside of Hatteisburg for a stop. "We get about ten minutes here," Bill said "let's get off here and stretch our legs" The driver stood up and announced "Ten minute rest stop,". The whites rose and ambled off.
When he arrived at the home the servant who took his hoarse and directed him to the room that Mr. Usher was in greeted him. Inside the house was also very ornate, but it to had also been left alone for to long. The entire house had a gloomy atmosphere that would put a chill down most people’s spines. When he entered the room his friend was staying in he was warmly welcomed. He could not believe the changes that his dear childhood friend had endured.

The vet also had a daughter by marriage to a white woman. This daughter resembled McMillan's light-skinned mother, Rosalie McMillan, and these half-sisters were friendly with one another. One day Rosalie was in a downtown five-and-dime where her half-sister worked. The white woman's boyfriend walked in, mistook Rosalie for his girl, covered her eyes from behind and yelled, "Guess who?"

As we went over this big hill there were miles of cars. But none of them were moving they were just sitting. The bus driver stopped the bus. The teachers got off to see what was wrong. The bus driver told us to stay on the bus. They ran to the nearest car there was a man sitting the bus

I had so many conspiracies of riding the bus, I thought perverted people ride buses and they were going to bother me, I thought it was going to be confusing because I have to ride two buses to get to Valencia which were identified with numbers. For instance, I ride bus 44 and get off and ride bus 37 the rest of the way. Not only was I opened to a more open view on people riding buses but I was no longer classifying what kind of people ride buses. I never thought I was going to ever ride the Lynx bus. But now I look at it as a school bus but not with kids but with grown people who are trying to get to where they are going because they simply just might not have enough money to buy a car at the time. Also I know how it feels to ride a lynx bus, to explain I would be riding in the car with my parents and see people getting on the lynx bus and be like I know what it’s like to ride that bus. So me looking at them made me realize when I grow up, I want a car and keep that car because I do not like riding the bus with a whole bunch of people. At the same time I thanked my parents for introducing me to riding the lynx bus just in case in the future if there ever comes a time and I say again if there ever comes a time I need to ride a bus because I can’t afford a car I wouldn’t be scared and would know how to ride the city bus to where ever I needed to
There once was a man named Franswah, and he had a wife named Keisha. They both lived in Keithville, Atlanta. They had a little girl named Jasmine, she was twelve years of age and she attended Ghettoville Jr. High School in the seventh grade. Keisha never did like doing anything, so her husband Franswah decided to go out and have an affair with a lady named Shay. Franswah and Shay worked at a law firm together. Shay was his assistant, she always helped him with things and they always went to lunch together. So some nights he never came home or either he came in late. Keisha was never the type of person to just argue, she mainly just questioned him to see what the response would be and she left it alone until the next morning. So one night when he came in he had a funny odor and Keisha asked him what was up with the smell, he told her that he had been working out and got sweaty. Their daughter Jasmine had very high blood pressure, so most of the time she didn’t go to school because of her condition and she stayed ill. Keisha had a younger sister named Ashley, she is the rowdy type that doesn’t care and will tell anybody anything. Keisha was telling her sister about Franswah coming in late, having a odor on him and don’t want to be questioned. So one day when Ashley was over there and he walked in she confronted him and told him if she find out that’s its that he’s cheating on her she was gone handle it. So he got mad and started hollering at Keisha for telling her sister about what was going on in their relationship. Then that’s when Ashley came back and told him that she can tell her anything she want to tell her because that’s her sister. So few minutes later the phone rings and its was Shay. Keisha answers the phone and it was another lady’s voice, and she asked to speak to Franswah. So she asked her who is calling and she told her that it was Franswah’s baby mother. Everyone is in shock, so Ashley gets on the phone and started getting rowdy. Ashley was asking her different questions like how old is the baby, where she live, and where did Franswah and her meet.
Another reason is that it is good for long trips. The bus has toilets so they don't have to stop to go to the restroom so it will cut travel time. The seats also lean back so you can relax whereas the buses
