People seems to be judged by their appearance rather than what matters most; their personal identity. Your personal identity is the ethnicity of a person; who they are within. It is more than where you're from, it's the background of their parents or other relatives and also their beliefs. Assimilation may cause someone to lose his or her personal identity, this may also result in someone being bullied, lack of opportunity and be judged by things his or her race did. ______
Migrating to a country where you are a minority it's very hard to fit in. In high school where most bullying takes place, kids of other race are picked on. This usually goes on for a long time since most children don't speak up about the situation and just accept that is how they have to live. I think no one should be judged by the way they look or what they wear for when you really look at it, we all want the same positive outcome in life.
