Pediatric nursing is a worldwide profession in which they help. When you are a baby until you are eighteen. Pediatric nurses are the ones you're performing during a yearly exam until you're eighteen. Pediatric nurse works with children for immunizations, treating common illnesses and work closely with family doctors as well. The lifestyle is that pediatric nurse sees many children with all kinds of problems that they have to figure out. Many of the pediatric nurses see children with problems that they never have ruined into himself, but have to find out what is wrong with the children. The lifestyle of a pediatric nurse is always changing due to the patients they are seeing from birth to age 18. The day's pediatric nurse has been constantly changing. Pediatric nurse schedule is their no typical day many of their days are changing and not every day is the same. The best life like in the career field is not being too busy also having to be able to be attentive. The lifelike in the career field of the pediatric nurse is their schedule is usually from 7Am-5pm just depending on where they are working on. Many of the hospitals close around 5 but some stay a little late just depending on where you're working. The life of a pediatric nurse is always changing so if you enjoy change this is a perfect place. If you don’t enjoy change it will be very hard for you to get it down at first, but you will get it if you stick to this
Obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and passing the licensing exam to become a Registered Nurse (RN) must be done first. The curriculum for attaining the degree relies heavily on sciences; mainly biology, chemistry, and anatomy and physiology. After receiving the RN license, the person must have at least 1 year of pediatric nursing experience to begin the process of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. Once an RN has obtained the requisite experience, they need to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing degree and take the licensing exam to become a nurse practitioner. The master’s degree program focuses heavily on Health Sciences such as health promotion, advanced pathophysiology, advanced pharmacology, nursing theory, and any other specialized courses. If, for example, the person wants to go into pediatric oncology, they may have to take classes in nutrition, microbiology, reproductive health, oncology, and child and adolescence health. When I am older I would love to be a Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy helping people when they are sick and taking care of them. Another reason I want to be a Nurse Practitioner is because my sister is also a Nurse Practitioner.
In the society we currently live in today, medical careers are a vital factor regarding the well-being of citizens in the United States. Neonatal nurses make up a very small part of this field, but still play a huge role. Our population depends on neonatal nurses, for the reason that they assist newborns, who were just brought into this world, in becoming stable and healthy. Evidently, in order to become a neonatal nurse, a particular education is required. In addition, with this career comes both a number of benefits and burdens. Overall, in our country, even in the world for that matter, neonatal nurses are needed and the demand for them will continue to grow in the future.
My first experience with children was when I would babysit younger kids. Caring for them while they were sick brought a sense of joy nursing them back to health. After doing this for so long, I grew a passion for taking care of children as a profession. I want to help kids feel better and watch them grow into world-changing individuals, so that is why I chose Pediatric Nurse Practitioner as my career. With this goal in mind, the University of Pennsylvania is the ideal school for me to explore and master this field of knowledge.

Neonatal Nursing has been around since the 1960s. It is a form of nursing that is referred to as the first twenty-eight days of life. Nursing is an important job for everyone because, when you are sick or hurt a nurse can heal your wound or prescribe medicine if they are authorized to. The demand for nurses is expected to grow so anyone that wants to become a nurse will always be able to find a job. The employment rate for nursing as of 2012-2022 is expected to grow nineteen percent which is higher than average.
Like the general public, I assumed their only job was to aid doctors and perform routine medical procedures that they are trained to do. The purpose of this interview was to gain insight into how much more nurses do, and I was greatly surprised. Marks shared what it is really like to be a pediatric nurse, and all the other roles they must play in their patients’ lives. As someone who has never been admitted into a hospital, or have been in the care of a nurse, her stories were eye-opening for me. Marks gave me a new-found appreciation for all that nurses
Every little kid has high exceptions for what they want to be when they grow up. Some dream of becoming president of the United States of America, or becoming an Astronaut, a lot of little kid’s say that they want to be a Doctor. What kids do not understand is that there are many types of doctors, like an orthopedic surgeon, they work with feet, or an oral surgeon, who work with the mouth. Another similarity to a doctor is a nurse practitioner. They do many of the same tasks, like performing minor surges, fixing broken bones, or simply giving a routine check up. Pediatric nurses do a lot of the same tasks as a regular nurse. They draw blood, check vital signs, can perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests. However, the job of a pediatric nurse goes beyond regular nurses. They must have a caring relationship not only with the patient they are tending to, but also the patient’s family. Parents usually prefer a pediatric nurse over a regular nurse due to the caring relationship they carry. This is well known by the nurses as the caring process. During this process the nurse must help the child and the child’s family step by step with anything they may need at the time. The pediatric nurse provides support, care, and information on how to prevent future problems. As a pediatric hospitalist, there are a wide range of duties that must be completed for the safety and well-being of one’s patients. A duty amongst all physicians is caring for a patient’s illnesses. As a pediatrician, one must be involved in the physical, mental, and emotional upbringing of adolescents throughout every stage of development in good health as well as in illness. A pediatrician takes care of a child from a few weeks after birth to the age of twenty-one when the patient transfers to a new physician. The duties designated to all pediatricians is to reduce infant and child mortality rates, control diseases, make sure patients lead well-maintained lifestyles, and make easier the lives of children and adolescents with chronic conditions.
