As education institutions are in competition of higher grades and attracting large population to get admission in their institutions. For this matter, they assure their students receiving high grades. When students know that they will easily get high grades, they stop working hard and become less efficient. This attitude lowers their skill level, and they fail to acquire good jobs. This also lowers their quality of learning as they do not bother to gather knowledge and run after grades. The education system is also responsible for this attitude as they focus on grade points and not on knowledge. Grading inflation is also affecting student’s dedication to learning and make efforts to score good marks because they can achieve high grades either
Each country takes a different approach to education which places them at distinctive ranks, such as how the teaching in another country can be more vigorous and strict than in the US. Out of fifty countries in the world, America is ranked number seventeen for education; while countries such as Finland is at the top of the list (“Best Education In The World”). Behind the curtain of education are the students, considering that the educational system depends on these bright minds. The students’ grades not only reflect the educational rank, but also the future of the country as a whole because these students are the next generation of entrepreneurs and doctors. In order for the rank of education to excel in the US, the Cash for Grades Program must be used in schools to aid low-income students, to motivate, and allow focus on school for all of the students.
In many ways this is true because without them getting anything in return, there is nothing that provides the person into doing it. Money stimulates children to work hard in school because they will want to do the best they can so they get the best result possible, and at the end, get rewarded not just with the money, but with a better possibility of doing well in the future. About 75% of students don't like trying hard in school because they feel like they aren't getting anywhere and that it is just a waste if their time. The money will encourage kids to work hard, and they will then realize that school is not as bad as they think. Lastly, kids will learn that work actually pays off. They will realize that when you work hard and put effort, you will always get something good back in return. This will get them ready for the future because they will know from experience that you do get rewarded for your effort. As you can see, people usually work harder when their is something in return, and the money will encourage students to commit to their
In 2010, Alyssa faced one of the horrors students face: bringing home a bad report card. Afraid of her parents’ reaction, the girl hid her report card to avoid showing the grim 76, for she, like other kids, does not want to be grounded for it. However, should students feel pressured to get a high grade? Should kids fear getting a bad grade? In reality, no parent should punish their children because of a “bad” grade; such action is detrimental to the students’ health and relationships. There is a more healthful, efficient way to improve grades, although, in reality grades are insignificant in today’s society.
According to PBS News Hour, even if students receive their rewards, there are moments where their parents take the reward away from them, which would leave them with disappointment. Additionally, let’s say a student put all their hard work for an assignment to get the reward (money) but to find out, they only got a ‘C’ as their grade. The effect of this can simply decrease their motivation for school and leave them in despair. To sum it up, if students were to get paid for grades, it will then again, leave them with frustration for not getting the desired grades or rewards.

Pay for performance is commonly known as an incentive or variable pay that will help the company and workforce be motivated and work harder. It is a term used to describe any type of monetary incentive that associates some fragment of an employee’s pay directly to results or accomplishments. The Business Dictionary defines paid performance as “a financial reward system for employees where some or all their monetary compensation is related to how their performance is assessed relative to stated criteria”. Such form of payment can be used as a result to how an individual, team, or the entire company performs during a specific and given time frame. The most basic form of pay for performance is the traditional piece-rate plan where employees are paid a specific amount of money for each unit of work.
In the mid 1900’s college students were able to pay for their tuition with money they made from their summer jobs (Paul F. Campos). It’s beyond belief that “over the past 35 year’s college tuition as public universities has nearly quadrupled” (Paul F. Campos). This is also becoming a problem to families who now cannot afford to send their children to college. The question that many people across America want to know is why is public college so expensive? College is overly priced because of the need for money for lost state funding, and the many amenities colleges build to attract students to their campus.
Students should be paid for having good grades. According to Psychology Today the United States has fallen behind other nations in education. In addition to this, approximately every one in four students in the U.S. drops out of school before graduation. The main reason for this is that students have little to no motivation. Students are either bored by school, or they are distracted by the other things that go on in their lives such as sports, jobs, friends and their own family life. Although learning has its own rewards, some students respond better to money. This essay explains how students will be paid and the reasons that they should receive money for getting good grades. Some reasons that students should be paid are: if students received rewards for having good grades fewer students would drop out, graduates would be better educated, people would seek higher education, less crime would be committed, less people would rely on the government and graduates would be more qualified for better jobs.
Sabaton is power metal band that has done many songs depicting war in a wide variety of perspectives. Their song’s themes range from glorifying war heroes to borderline anti-war tracks. However, in “The Price of a Mile” the core message postulated by Sabaton is a somber and chilling perspective on the 2nd Battle of Ypres during WWI. Instead of their typical inspiring tone heard throughout most of their music, Sabaton intentionally construes a slow beat that adds to atmosphere of the song. In fact, “The Price of a Mile” seeks to convey the hopelessness and despair surrounding the soldier’s minds as they fought for a mere 6 miles of ground.
The transition from high school to college, can be one of the most exciting, yet overwhelming time for a student. Every year, when it’s time for seniors to make a decision for college, one factor that is always in the back of their minds, is tuition. Tuition rises every year, and unfortunately it is part of the reason why students alter their college choices; such as going to a community college. Although many may argue that the price for college is worth the investment, the high costs of college puts a lot of stress on students. Students attempt to manage both jobs and schooling, however the result of that appears on their work ethic can negatively impact them.

As we can see, architect is really popular with their habits: drawing, counting, and getting minimum amount of sleep. After taking a 4-year of study in university, architect should work under some people to gain some experience, and unfortunately this fresh graduate student often receives unreasonable salary after giving so much effort to do his/her work. Architect’s earning is nothing compared to the hard work he/she has to do, so I think architects should get paid better. There are some reasons why architects should get paid better.
A child with no desire to learn will only learn because of the reward offered. The work will end up outweighing the benefit in the end, and they will soon stop trying as hard. If you intend to use money as a motivator for your child’s schooling and you’re aware they’re not interested in learning anyway, “be prepared to be forking out a lot of dough as they rise in education level” said Kara Smith. If you're expecting money for good grades and don't receive what you hope for then how is your self-confidence going gain in your child. Although if you are paying for good grades you're wasting time and hope on your child all coming together with lack of enthusiasm and poor reward systems.in conclusion paying for grades is not going to last as long as you want them to.
There is a common phrase in the South referred to as “paying for your raising.” The phrase most likely uttered by an exhausted mama or daddy towards their disobedient kids as a warning that one day when you become a parent, your children will put you through the same exact torment. Over time, with wisdom gained through life experience, you reach a point in your life where you appreciate the protectiveness, advice, and innumerable sacrifices your parents made for you and realize that there is nothing you can do to repay them for it. However, according to the old adage of “paying for your raising,” there is at least some penance. Thankfully, there’s no expectation of repayment, because most of us would suffer all these sorrows again for those
