Americans are having too many kids that our Earth can’t sustain. For many years the over population of kids has limited our resources, as the population increases daily our resources are declining and leaving people with less to eat because prices go up, the more kids that parents have is making it more likely for the parents not being able to provide for them because the more the population goes up the more the prices will rise. Research says that, “There are more than 7 billion people on Earth now, and roughly one in eight of us doesn't have enough to eat. The question of how many people the Earth can support is a long-standing one that becomes more intense as the world's population—and our use of natural resources and money is limited to adults and others” (p1)(Dennis Dimick, National Geographic) This paper will state that some parents aren’t …show more content…

Parents would be more careful and caring with their responsibilities if they had to earn the privilege to be A parent.Hundreds of children are sent into foster care just because parents lack of financial needs or parents cannot take care of them.Research says “each week, nearly 60,000 children in the United States are reported as abused or neglected, with nearly 900,000 confirmed abuse victims in 2004. About 520,000 of those children end up in foster care each year -- double the number 25 years ago. Approximately 800,000 children every year come in contact with the foster care system.” about About 40,000 infants are placed in foster care every year and 126,000 children are currently available for adoption and also Thirty percent of the homeless in America and some 25 percent of those in prison were once in foster care.
