Why do kids need parental love? The kids future are depending on their parental love and how they are going to act or communicate with other people they are going to meet in life. Parental love is really important to kids because it will shape them into who they are in the future. It gives the kids the sense of love and how important it is to have someone we care for right next to us. There are kids that do not know who their parents are or they do not get their parental love even though they live with their parents. Love comes with a cost and each of them is different. Some parents sacrificed their time and effort to take care of their children even when they were really tired after getting home from work. They wanted to cook dinner for their kids and to have a little conversation with their kids even though they were really tired. They wanted to talk to their kids about how their day were going, how they missed their kids when they were at work. It is little things that make love unique. People are happy. Night time and she’s sitting on the bed. After story goes to sleep and mum kisses her good night. Reads a special story”.( When parents love and don’t love their children: some children’s stories 220). This is something that we all had when we were a little kid. Our parents read a bed time story for us to make our life more interesting and to make us know that we are their love. Parents bought their child into this world and they were happy to do so. Most of the kids give their parents a sense of hope and a purpose to live in world when their parents are really desperate to find a way out of this world. Love is mutual and it is really important to know how we feel about each other. The kids give us a hard time, a headache, and heartache because they want us to love them, take care for them and to give them the attention that they want. We want our kids to grow up with love and we want them to know that they are special. Love has no boundaries and we love our children unconditionally every day. We want to make breakfast when they wake up in the morning and lunch before they are going to bed. We want to give them a home where they can go back to when they have nowhere else to go. Love allows us to teach our children many things in our daily life. We can give them courage, trust, faith, and joy through thing that we do for them. Love allows them to learn that from us through tears, hardship, and how we love them
Today, there are many different interpretations of the word love. Love could be as simple as a four-letter word, or as infinitude of caring and emotions. There is a difference between being in love with someone and loving someone; and a difference in the people you share that with. Love shared between two best friends or a husband and wife is the type of love you want to last for a lifetime, however, there is never a guarantee that it always will. But the love between a parent and child, or between any family members is the type of love that is infinite. In the poem, “After Making Love We Hear Footsteps”, written by Galway Kinnell, Kinnell creates a story about the love between two parents and their child. The author writes about this recognizable
Every parent in this world loves their children more than anything. Even the children can’t stay away from their parents for so long. Nothing in this world could be more precious than the love of a parent has for his/her children. Our parents are always with us no matter what happens. Often in life we make mistakes, but our parents give us supports and teach us to learn from those mistakes and move on with our lives. They also try to teach us from their experience. Parents always make sacrifices to provide for their family. In the poem “Mother to Son” by Langston Huges and “Those Winter Sundays” by Robert Hayden, the poets talk about how the parents are always making sacrifices to make their children’s life a little bit easier. Both of these poems reveal the struggle the parents go through in order to provide for their family.
Fromm describes the value of secure attachment, explaining that to a baby, “mother is warmth, mother is food, mother is euphoric state of satisfaction and security” (Fromm, 38). As they grow, children learn how to love and be loved through this relationship. The experience of being loved as a baby is described as a “passive one” because “there is nothing I [the baby] has to do in order to be loved” (Fromm, 39). Love, as a child may have learned about it, can only be received and “cannot be acquired, produced, controlled”, but the “capacity to love” can be developed; this is usually displayed in children starting at age eight (Fromm, 40). In a healthy learning journey, children come to learn that “love is not primarily a relationship to a specific person; it is an attitude, an orientation of character which determines the relatedness of a person to the world as a whole, not toward one “object” of love” (Fromm, 46). Children will seriously struggle - especially in regards to their ability to love and be loved - if they are deprived a comforting, present caretaker in their early years of
Parenting styles refer to a set of different manners in which parents raise their children. There are four parenting styles including authoritarian, authoritative, permissive, and uninvolved parenting. The authoritarian parenting style is based on the implementation of rules, and on the idea that all rules should be followed without exceptions. Similarly, authoritative parenting style implements rules, but the child feelings are taken in consideration and reasonable exceptions to the rule are allowed. On the other hand, in permissive parenting style, there is implementation of rules, but they are rarely encouraged to be followed. Lastly, in uninvolved parenting style, there is a lack of engagement between parents and children, and there are
Diana Baumrind’s theory on parenting was defined by four different types. The types are, authoritative style, authoritarian style, permissive style, and uninvolved style. My parents have an authoritative style. Authoritative is when the parents give certain limits and restrictions but keep it to a minimum and are usually pretty reasonable, providing reasoning for their decisions. This type of parenting style expresses tenderness and warmth. When the rules come into conflict with something, authoritative parents bend the rule more often than other types of parents.
For most people, becoming a parent is one of the greatest moments in their lives. I never understood the true meaning of love until I became a father. Little did I know; I would also learn the tragedy of loss.
Mothers go through all sorts of stress. While parenting can be overwhelmingly stressful, it’s important to consider the possible implications of our actions and how our responses to situations can affect how our children feel physically and mentally. Recent research (2014) has investigated some aspects of how a mother’s physical response to a stressful situation could effect her infant. Knowing that infants can indirectly pick up a mother’s personal reaction can keep a mother aware of her actions and ultimately provide better care for the infant.
There are many approaches to parenting and everyone has their own preferences as to what they think is best. In a fast paced rush around society, it is hard to know what the best choices are for your children. There is a struggle to balance what needs to be done with what can be done, and this has negative and positive feedback on the children. Parents play a critical role in shaping and guiding their children into functional confident adults. An effective parent will learn as they teach in order to grow into understanding with their children.
Every parent has different skills that they use when dealing with their child. Growing up I had two parents with completely different techniques on how to handle situations with me. Both of my parents love me unconditionally, and would give me the entire world if they could. For every parent, teaching lessons and earning respect is a very important aspect to them. Each of my parents love me so much, but both have very different ways of showing affection, discipline, and communication.
Parenting comes as a challenge to most people and is probably the most important job in the world. Parenting comes with love, care and of course discipline for the child. Great parenting aids the children in promoting emotional and physical health, giving them motivation, manners, and good moral values. Most children learn from what they see and if they see good things at home, that’s what they will remember. There are so many parenting styles out there but in the end it is the parents choice to choose how they want to parent their children. In Mr. and Mrs. Harsh-Heart’s case on parenting styles they chose to focus on strict discipline, rules and harsh consequences with even resulting to spanking. This is known as authoritarian parenting. Then, we have Mr. and Mrs. Easy- Going and they don’t involve punishment because they believe in natural consequences so their children can learn a lesson on their own here and there. This type of parenting is known as permissive parenting. Although these families have two totally different ways of parenting their children, each way of parenting has its own advantages, and disadvantages.

For my mid term paper I 'm going to talk about single parent children and how it affect them in all aspects of life and how it forces the child to grow up faster than other children that have 2 parents.
There are so many different types of family relationships. Whatever form a family takes; it is an important part of everyone’s life. My family has played an important role in my life. Good family relationships serve as a foundation to interactions with others. Supportive families will help children to thrive. The quality of the family relationship is more important than the size of the family. Making the relationships priority, communication, and providing support for one another is key to developing relationships. Family relationships are what make up our world today; they shape the ways that we see things and the ways that we do things.
There are many benefits to teachings having a good relationship with the student’s family, guardian, or parents. "The great model of affection of love in human beings is the sentiment which subsists between parents and children." as time goes by, things change. What was popular, and normal, in the 70s has changed. The older generation always wonder what had gone wrong with the younger generation and the younger generation also wonder why parents can`t understand their needs. The don`t know how to deal with the differences between each others and that has lead to a gap between parents and children.
