The time paradox is one of my biggest challenges I face every day. Technology has saved me time, from using the Swiffer instead of a mop, to paying my bills through the internet instead of mailing a check. I balance being a full-time student, a small business owner, and a pet owner to two amazing dogs. Technology crunches my time with online homework, emails, online sales, and balancing my Quickbooks. Since I can get most of my work done in the palm of my hand, it tempts me to sacrifice some sleep with the daunting pressure to get everything done (Weiten, pg.1, 2013).
That you have been given many choices, but perhaps too many choices?
The choice paradox makes making even the simplest decision more stressful and difficult. When faced with many choices to choose from, the selection process becomes more complex. Life is not as simple as the generation that grew up before us or the generation before them. When there are too many choices it develops self-doubt and it makes people wonder, what if? Choice overload makes people struggle with decision causing them to feel anxiety and regret which could lead to depression (Weiten, pg.2, 2013). I

As technology progressives, the health and happiness of people are not causing a paradox. The quality of life has declined rathered than increase, since the technological advances from the past 100 years. (Weiten, pg.2, 2013) I would change the extreme desire to have a phone in my hands at all times. It makes me feel uncomfortable standing in line when everyone’s head is down to their phones. Even driving through campus, everyone that is walking has their eye’s locked on their phones. Do not get me wrong, I love my iPhone, but it is becoming an obsession that everyone is accepting as a norm.

America. It was a dream come true in a New World that was envisioned by artists, politicians, and monarchs alike. The ones who believed that anything could be achieved by God, the mind, and manpower. Even through opposition from governments, kingdoms, nobles, and naysayers, these brave individuals strived to establish a better life for themselves and their families, aimed to retain a secure future in the process, and wanted to worship God in their own way.
Since the Industrial Revolution, technology has become an essential tool in human life. Technology impacted lives in society by offering a way to “multitask” by using two or more technological devices. Technology and internet offers the facility to do homework faster through Google, while listening to music on Pandora or YouTube. Sometimes, you can even talk on the phone while you listen to music and do homework. All you need in order to multitask is to have all the technological devices needed. Many people consider technology as a positive change in our lives, because of the facilities it offers us. However, many other persons, like Christine Rosen, think that technology instead of improving our lives, it has only changed it negatively. Technology, in fact has provided us with many facilities, however such facilities are affecting our interactions with the physical space.

In this paper, I will give each factor a grade in terms on future
The Paradox of Choice has multiple points that can be considered the big take aways. First, choosing is not an easy procedure in daily life. The consumer must learn to be careful and choose strategically. Second, when making decisions, one cannot expect to get maximum results. Sometimes settling for less is necessary. Finally, the decision maker must account for loss, and be prepared to experience negative results from some decisions.

...r phones update our minds suffer another loss. People are slowly losing their independence to think for themselves and the ability to rely on their own intelligence instead of a computer`s. When this happens, it can endanger the proper development of the personality and hamper the social relationships needed for life together in society. The more we succumb towards technology, the less personality we are capable of retaining. It`s come to the point that the smaller our devices get, the smaller our brains get as well. Technology has vastly improved over just a short amount of time, and societies` dependence on it is strengthened more and more with every day that passes. Yes, it makes life "easier", but the easy way out isn`t always the best way. People don`t just depend on their technology for help anymore. It has come to the point where they depend on it to survive.
Cell phones are not the only device that affects me negatively; other innovations such as cell phones, televisions, and computers are also generating potential negative effects even if they allow processes to flow more smoothly and quickly. Society utilizes inventions greatly because the aids of these devices allowed people to accomplish more tasks or even complete two projects simultaneously; these advancements eventually become part of people’s lives. Under new transformations, the society undergoes a metamorphosis of becoming more and more advanced. However, changes that intend to create convenience actually make lives worse because people become dependent on these inventions. Even though this revolution increases efficiency, it engenders other serious problems to the society.

We make choices every hour, every minute, and every second of our lives; whether big or small our choices are slowly putting us in the direction we choose or end up. Many of us do not realize what contributes to the choices we make and why it affects others the same way if affects us and because of this many authors and writers have written stories and articles about coming to terms with making a choice and how to better ourselves when it comes to decision-making for the future.
