Smartphones have become popular because of the convenient features. Many young people have their own mobile phone and very dependent on it (Samaha, Hawi 2015, p.321). However, it also might causes students use smartphones frequently and affect their life which include academic performance. That may be a kind of excessive use of mobile phones.
