To overcome an obstacle means to overcome any obstruction a person has overlooked with in the bygone or in the present-day. In my opinion, I see obstacles as an opportunity to discover and germinate from any faults a person could have assembled during the journey. I have overcome many obstacles in my past but the main obstacle that has refined my life for the greater good was when I was 7 years old. My brother has constantly been very strict with me yet I now notice that he only did that so that later on in a way it would make me a robust human. We never really experience thoughts when faced with an obstacle. Discouragement can stop us from overcoming an obstacle. Never let your thoughts or emotions stop you, observe the obstacle as you would if someone else is facing it.

Some obstacles may be overcome but not always, if not, we should still not give up but look from a different perspective. One of the many obstacles I have overcome was the fear of rollercoasters. My brother and I went to Magic Mountain when I was 7 years old, he informed me that if I didn’t get on all the nerve-racking roller coasters, he would never come back here with me. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone to overcome an obstacle. I see now how overcoming this fear has made me a stronger person by feeling as if I could accomplish anything in life. I believe that we shouldn’t put obstacles aside without attempting it.
Most obstacles may be potential by setting goals for ourselves so that we can stay motivated in achieving that target. Journeys may take a long and extended duration. For example, in the movie “The Odyssey” Odysseus had to
"Some do not realise the journey they are taking until they are faced with its obstacles."
Looming obstacles in the life of an individual serve as molds which instill perseverance, hard work in an individual's identity and bring hope for the future.
At some point in life most people have allowed at least one challenge to defeat them, if not more. Then there are those people who view these challenges as simply that, a challenge. This was the theme throughout Kyle Maynard’s novel, No Excuses, I learned that it is how we go about conquering these challenges that defines us as people. Throughout his novel he notes things will not always come easily; therefore, it is up to us to dig deep and conquer our goals. By finding alternate routes and adjusting your mindset, we are able to achieve any goal we set our minds to. Because it is not the obstacle that holds us back but it is ourselves that keeps us from fulfilling our greatest
It is true that obstacles in life are uncomfortable and unsupportable experiences, but if we would learn to look at the bright sides of problems, keep seeking opportunities, manage situations and learn from failures then the difficulties that we face in our life would turn out for the better not only in the present but also in the
The obstacles which we must face are not there to hinder our daily life. They are there to provide countless opportunities to obtain greater success. In order to be successful we must look at every obstacle as a new opportunity.
Adversity enhances ones’ positive characteristics due to the provision of an ideal environment for establishing integrity and developing a mature mindset. This conclusion is valid because people tend to learn from their mistakes, thus gain a broader perspective on life.
“Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.”(Michael Jordan). Every once in awhile, people are faced with hardships, it’s just a matter of life. However, some of these people may not know how to deal with these obstacles that they are facing. Although the individuals in the selection faced a variety of different hardships, they all overcame these obsatcles by perservering and not giving up.
Most people tend to let ones anxiety control him, their fears scare them and obstacles get in their way. If one lets this get in his way, then there’s no possible way that he will be able to overcome his obstacles. For example, a great artist named Phil Hansen had been diagnosed with nerve damage and he let his obstacles get in his way of creating art. In addition to this, a journalist named James Collier suffered of anxiety and he let his anxiety control him. Hansen had to embrace his shake, Collier overcame his anxiety and I had to overcome anxiety at a certain point in my life as well. Having that said, overcoming obstacles will allow one to surpass his.

Throughout one's life, they will overcome many obstacles. An obstacle is a thing that stops someone from doing a certain task. There are many obstacles that one can go through but some are losing a family member, getting sick, or just going through a rough patch in life. Every obstacle a person encounters changes them as a person. Some obstacles impact more than others, but they both will affect the person in some shape or form. An obstacle becomes a definite point in someone's life because they can look back at the time when they did not believe they could over it and show themselves how much of a stronger person they have become.
In life, people will always have something to say about you in everything one does in life, either negative or positive, but it’s the moment when you let what is said upon you affect the way you live your life, that when its becomes a problem. I for myself have been victim of so many people saying things about me and letting get into my head, but I had the courage to overcome a lot of obstacles like that. I have struggled with a lot of obstacles in my life some got the better of me while I have been able to overcome most of them. I am writing this essay to give an example of an obstacle which I struggled with for a very long time and I nearly took the best of me, but with time I was able to overcome it.
Throughout the entirety of my life I always have and always will face obstacles: I am a girl, I am African-American, I have a disabled brother, I have a single parent. Though these aspects of my life have created challenges, I am proud of who I am and I love my life. These challenges have molded my character and shaped me to be the person I am today and without these obstacles, I might not have been as driven to succeed, despite what has happened in my life that may have caused me to
Overcoming Obstacles Throughout a persons life, they are faced with different obstacles, and different challenges of all different types. My life in particular has been full of ups and downs, especially towards my soccer career. In the novel The Pact, three boys, George, Rameck, and Sam, are faced with many obstacles throughout their lives, where they must learn to overcome and achieve great success on their own will power. Essentially, I did the same thing. My soccer career has been one of my most difficult life challenges, creating the person I am today.
Have you ever wondered if there could possibly be overwhelming obstacles in the way of someone being truly successful in life? Some may witness friends or loved ones not developing to their fullest potential in their profession because of these unobtainable obstacles holding them back. In “Professions for Women,” by Virginia Woolf, Woolf gives a speech to a group of women explaining why they must overcome certain things in order to be successful in their future professional careers. In speaking to this group of determined young women, Woolf explains how horrendous it may be to have your own thoughts or beliefs while living in a society said to be dominated by males. She
Most people in life that I would consider a loser, don't view themselves the same as I do. In my opinion there are many things that cause someone to be a loser. Many main causes of a loser to me consist of a lack of good morals, a person who doesn’t set goals, and a person who makes excuses for everything. If you take a person who is lacking good morals they tend to disrespect the rule that arguably every human knows, and that is the difference between right and wrong. The cause of bad morals makes a particular person unenjoyable to be around, and these people often cause trouble around others.
