Sometimes in life a failure can be helpful in helping you to be successful in the future. A loss can teach you how to win if you are willing to learn. If you are willing to accept your loss today you can learn from it and it will teach you how to reach success. In it is certain that life we will fail many times. We may not accept it all the time, but often we are forced to. If you are a positive person you can turn your failure in a lesson. In 11th grade it was required for me to take a United States history class. History is not my favorite but I’m usually good at completing tasks that are given to me as a requirement. The class was a little difficult for me. The teacher was a good teacher even though she taught at a fast pace. I did everything I was required to do in that class. I completed the homework and handed them in on time, I made sure I did my best on every project, but my test and quiz grades varied from failing to 90s. Unfortunately I didn’t do as well as I wanted to on the midterm despite studying. Technically I didn’t fail because my grade was not lower than a 65, but it was a fail for me. I consider any grade less than a 75 to be failing. This grade was not the grade that I had hoped for. I have gotten lower on a previous test but to me the midterm is more than a regular test. On a regular test I would feel disappointed or I would think about the topic. Maybe it was a topic that was complicated for me. With the midterm test it was different. What was on the midterm is everything we learned in the first semester of the class. We also didn’t get to write the essays on the midterm. I thought about why I did so poorly. Maybe if I did get a chance to write the two essays I would have gotten the chance to score higher. Maybe my studying techniques were not the best for
