Everyone knows high school can be rough. But what happens when the most unpopular people in the school join the only club where they are truly appreciated and welcomed? Lots of slushies thrown in your face. Why? Because Glee Club is the lamest club in the school. I have been binge watching this show for so long, and I just can’t stop. This TV Show highlights any adversity you could think of, and shows different characters overcoming it. Simply, if you were to say “I wish (blank) never happens to me!” there is a glee episode for that. Although this TV show can be inappropriate for some ages, there is a true message about overcoming adversity in it.
Imagine being back in high school. The pressed polyester cheerleader uniforms, the red letterman

Mr. Schuester was a member of Glee club when he went to school, and decides to reboot the program. To his dismay, only five, wildly unpopular kids sign up. The self-centered, yet extremely talented lead singer Rachel Berry. Rachael has long, straight brown hair, and brown eyes. She dresses like a toddler, and she is short as well. Rachel's whole life, she has felt like an outsider, and the only place where she truly belonged was Broadway. Since she was three months old, she took dance lessons, vocal lesson, and piano lessons. Anything to get her a competitive edge. Her passion, her heart and her soul was devoted to singing. She even had a MySpace page where she recorded herself singing, however the cheerleaders liked to leave a couple of nasty comments, but the vicious comments did not stop her from doing what she loved. a fiesty teen named Tina Cohen-Chang and her nerdy wheelchair friend Artie who takes the role of the male lead. Also among the first five are Kurt Hummel, with a voice like Diana Ross, and Mercedes Jones, who wants to be like Beyonce. The Glee Club’s first few days are rough, until Mr. Schuester is posting sign up …show more content…
This truly showed that nothing is impossible, as long as you have a creative outlet to express yourself. I also liked that there were so many different romance pairing. They also have many different combinations. Boys dating boys, girls dating girls, and girls dating boys. They have every type of overcoming adversity, including teen pregnancy, disabilities, and suicide. This may seem like an extremely sensitive topic, however these teenager’s love of singing, dancing, and music in general help them overcome their challenges. I also like that the covers were AMAZING. They have every type of singer possible, from deep and soulful, to light and high-pitched. Some covers of the songs the Glee Club sings are even better than the original, with a perfect mix of older songs, with current music, and every genre from rap, to rhythm and blues, to pop music. Everything a music lover could ask for. Hits from bands such as Journey, and also including favorite soloists such as Madonna and Whitney Houston. What I didn’t like is that after the fifth season, the show seemed to lose focus of the true meaning of glee, and the cast was not as enjoyable as the earlier seasons. You can learn from the show that nothing is impossible, as long as you can believe it. You can also learn that there is no such thing as underdogs, only stars who don’t shine as
It has taught me to never give up hope, even when times are hard. My favorite character is Vivian. I liked her a lot because in her life, she has been through some dark times. As a young girl, she was always loving. When she grew older, that same love never died, but flourished. After getting to know Molly, she gave her that same love that she always had. Even though Vivian is an older woman, she heart never grew
These attributes gave her the key to working with the most notable producers, script writers and musical producers in the history of Broadway. Her many shows gave her the opportunity to understand herself as a Broadway actress and her voice stands alone to all of the people who followed. Her voice will live on in theaters and she will continue to remain a pinnacle of Broadway history.
One of the main characters is a girl named Jasmine but they call her Jazz for short. Jazz is basically a goth girl and she has black hair with a little pink on top. She goes to high school and is around the age of 15. Jazz is in a pretty bad mood usually but it just depends on what she is doing. The other main character's name is Antonia. Antonia is a very smart girl and helps other people out with their problems. She is like a councilor. She has about shoulder length dirty blond hair and is pretty average in height for her age. She is usually in a good mood but sometimes she can get mad or sad. The last main character is Antonia's mom. She has pretty good attitudes depending on what she feels like. She is in her mid-30's.
It is good drama show and all of the actors; character is amazing according to the reviews from cite review sanazhalz( Switched at birth).” I remember watching one scene from Switched at birth when Mingo told Daphne at the party that her friends Travis and Natalie got hit by a car. Ask Daphne did you hear anything about what happen to your friends and she said’’ I got to go. Daphne rushed to the hospital to see Travis and Natalie. She ask Travis what happened to you, as a result; Travis said” me and Natalie were walking across the street and then drunk driver got hit by us”.

...e typical physical stereotypes of African-Americans, this show is good for children to see because the characters are kind to each other and it portrays a loving family and home and great friends for the children.
The first main character is Samantha Keyes, also known as Sammy. Sammy has a great personality. She's very spunky, creative and curious about everything. She will always try to invest into something and learn more about it. She lives with her grandma, because her mom went to hollywood to try to become successful as an actor. She has some really close friends, like Dot and Marissa, but a lot of people at school don’t get her and make fun of her. The next main character is Ritas Keyes or “Grams”, Sammy's grandmother. Sammy
Firstly, I liked the way in which the author uses his experiences to relate ...
Mom. Clarisse is a prostitute and is also a distant relative of JT. Ms. Bailey is the representative for tenants’ rights, and T-Bone is who manages the gang’s finances. I liked most of the characters but my favorite would have to be C-Note because of his skills to hustle.
This show does an amazing job at really show casing how bad anxiety disorders can get. The show all types of anxiety disorders from OCD to agoraphobia which is the fear of places and situations that might cause panic, embarrassment or helplessness. Throughout the day before he can leave his house he double and triple checks everything that could cause harm. His anxiety makes him worried about the fact that something small
I believe this movie does a good job incorporating what we have discussed in class in terms of adolescent development. Although the movie is greatly exaggerated and blown up, the movie does emphasize on key factors to the development of an adolescent. Aside from the self-identity and friendship, the film incorporates parental relationships, academics, teacher-student relationships, risky behaviors, and moral development during adolescent

Hazing in universities across the nation has become a common tradition that develops mostly in Greek organizations. Hazing is seen in many different social groups such as schools, military units, sport teams, fraternities, and sororities. Prohibited by law for unnecessary reasons; hazing is a way to grow with friends in a closer way than independent students will ever have the chance to. Every year there are thousands of teenagers that pledge for a fraternity knowing of the possible chance of being hazed. People that join fraternities join for a sense of belonging and to meet people with similar interests. Trying to fit into a new college campus can be hard for a person to do. Almost every group pressures the new pledges to participate in hazing activities to create a sense of brotherhood. Hazing is a process that creates a sense of unity, also it teaches the one being hazed about himself and his brothers; being hazed into a group will help someone become a well-rounded person and will help them overcome struggles later in life.
Charmed is a good work of art, although it is fictional, it mentions about real life. The season is about supernatural, it does transfer various valuable lessons from every episode about relationships, careers, marriage, childbirth, illness and the deaths of loved ones. People can find the all the true life stories from the show. Noticeably, there are three main moral views from this show such as feminist racist, good side and evil side, and family love.
These are some of the reasons I love this show. They take our daily lives and help us to understand it. This show provides real happenings of this world. It gives a detailed view of what life is really life for people going through the same things. For me, this show is much deeper and fully within the society, than we realize.
