show Scandal takes place in the wonderful city of Washington D.C. . It’s an everyday show when Olivia Pope receives a call from a client, that at all costs wants to avoid the attraction of paparazzi. It is the job of Olivia Pope and her five helpers to try and clean up any mess caused by the client, such as a murder scene. The particular thing is that Pope and Associates, the name of Olivia’s company, is that they don’t just deal with regular people, but they work with important government officials such as senators, governors, and the president of the United States. Olivia Pope is a lawyer that has made a title for herself in the country’s capital. Clearing all stereotypes, she is a black woman whom everyone around the country knows. One of her toughest jobs in her life, was running the campaign of former President Fitzgerald Grant. While running the campaign, she unexpectedly falls in love with Mr. Grant, who is about to turn into the next U.S. president. Being the professional woman that she is, she quits her job at the White House, and decides to build her own company known as Olivia Pope and Associates. Although she seems like a very strong woman, she lived a hard childhood. As a little girl, she lost her mother, and her father is a very distant cold man. To try and keep in touch with him, she has dinner with him every Sunday. She then comes to find out that her father is actually a White House worker known as Command . They quickly learn that their professor, Annalise Keating, is a tough women that will challenge them until their last year of law school. During the first week of school, each individual competes for a spot on the Keating team, whom have the privilege of having an internship with her. Annalise finally decides who will be the chosen ones, and the five law students become known as the Keating 5. Their job is to help Annalise win all her court cases, which she always does. This attorney doesn’t deal with small cases, but rather with murder cases such as the death of two wealthy parents, who were killed by their adopted son. Annalise Keating is probably known as the best attorney in the state of Pennsylvania. There is not a case where Mrs. Keating loses to another lawyer; she’s always the victorious lawyer in the room. As a black women, she faced hardships throughout her life, but she was able to make a name for herself. As a young girl, she lived a traumatizing life due to the sexual assault received by her uncle.Because of that reason, and her father leaving, she’s always been resentful with him, even up to this day. There is not a time, where she doesn’t remind him of what he did to their family. She is unable to forgive him. Overall, the show shifts focus to the most important event in the show: the murder of
