Today I will teach you about some important things. Today you will get to learn about alcohol, prescription drugs, OTC drugs, and last but not least tobacco. If you want to learn about these things, then read on. First will be about some alcohol facts. Some facts are, Alcohol is illegal for people under the age of 21. Do you know why? Well you may not be fully developed, so your body might not be able to get rid of the harmful substances you put in your body. Therefore you can harm yourself and others. Another fact is don’t ever mix alcohol with medicines. This can be highly bad to you. Don’t forget too much alcohol can be bad for your body and your health. Prescription drugs are from from doctors. The doctor’s prescription lets you buy a specific drug not just for anyone to buy, but for you to buy for your own needs. Always follow the directions with medicine and never overdose with the medicine. Let’s go read more of the information! Now we are going to talk about OTC drugs. OTC means over-the-counter. Anyone can buy OTC drugs. You still have to follow the directions on the label though. Don’t overdose yourself. You should also look at the ingredients to make sure you aren’t allergic to anything in the medicine or that the medicine has something you get in a different medicine. Tobacco contains nicotine, a powerful substance that you feel you want more of what it is put in, as in it addicts you to the thing it is in, which in this case is cigarettes and chewing tobacco.
