Oskar Schindler: Good Vs. Evil

Oskar Schindler
I don't believe anyone is born evil or good. I believe that it takes something extraordinary to make you evil or good. I think that this is what happened to Oskar Schindler, I believe he was the rescuer. Schindler saved Jews by making them work for him and this is why I think Schindler changes to good from evil.
During World War II the Nazis were taking there land back and in doing so they exterminated about 6 million Jews. The first stages of this where to take the Jews from their homes and put them in ghettos. Also this was depicted in the film Schindler's List and it's known as the liquidation process. While they were taken from their homes they had all of their jewelry taken and even their silver teeth so it could be melted down. After that process they would start taking the jews on trains and bring them to concentration camps where they would either work or die.
In the film this was happening in Krakow Poland and Schindler had a factory. But Schindler did not come to Krakow to save Jews. He came to make money for himself. Fortunately the Jews were a part …show more content…

There he made bullet shells but he designed them so they did not work. So this proves he was trying to be a help of some sort. Also Schindler whispered into his account Sterns ear, “Tomorrow it's going to start. Jozefa and Izaak streets are going to know all about it.” So this may have a been another step in him changing. Also the Nazis were going to take children away from Schindler on trains but he told them no and made up an excuse that older people's hands wouldn't be able to fit in tight spaces. I believe he was trying to save them. Finally toward the end of the film Schindler and the Jews were all in the factory and he was giving his speech.
