“At least 150 orcas have been taken into captivity from the wild since 1961 (including Pascua and Morgan)” Have you seen the last 150 orcas? No? Me Neither because they have been killed by SeaWorld. One-hundred twenty-seven of these orcas are now dead. Orcas tend to live longer in the wild and live less whenever they are captured by SeaWorld. Capturing orcas for the SeaWorld entertainment should be illegal because most of them died faster and live longer in the wild, being forced to adapt with orcas not compatible to them, and orcas are forced to live in the artificial social groups. Since orcas are in captivity they break their teeth from the concrete of the tanks because they get bored or have anxiety of eating. Orcas get a really bad pain at their teeth without getting any medicine to control it. Orcas get bored because it’s only them at the tanks, but in the wild they get to interact not only with other orcas but also with other type of fish. During captivity orcas don’t get to eat whenever they want to, they eat whenever the trainers think they are hungry. Comparing this situation to the wild, Orcas eat at any time or at any day meaning that they eat whenever they want. Orcas are adapted to live in social groups meaning that they are used to live with their family not with others. Orcas are tend to hang out with two up to fifteen orcas. Whenever orcas have babies, they stayed with their mother. At SeaWorld, orcas are forced to be separated from their families. Orcas are being put in tanks with different orcas from them. They are forced to adapt to different types of orcas that speak a different language from them. Orcas that are kept in captivity don’t have the freedom that the other orcas from the wild get.
