Welcome to The Orange County Gospel Fellowship Family!
I’d like to congratulate you on completing our membership course. Having submitted to the requirements of membership it demonstrates your humility. I trust that you have experienced the wind of the Spirit here among us! By design we work to develop an atmosphere of love, faith, and liberty, to perpetuate a strong anointing. We are so grateful to have you as a part of our fellowship, and trust that the Spirit of God has lead you to be among us. I look forward to your continued growth and maturity as you experience the love of God through acts of service (Gal 5:13), becoming jointly fitted together in the body (Eph 4:16). It is our desire to see you grow as a ‘follower of God as dear children (Eph 5) as you participate in the fellowship. We believe in loving service to one another as Jesus also demonstrated (Mark 10:45) and we are here to serve. As you come to be a blessing, so we together can bless one another as God enables.

Understanding that one of the goals of the church is to win souls and lead the captive to liberty (Prov. 11:30, Lk 4). We also desire to see you built you up in the faith (Jude 1:20, Acts 20:32, Col 2) as you take advantage of the opportunities to give of yourself in worship, fellowship, and acts of love. I believe this process develops Spiritual growth, faith, and humility in the life of the believer. Learning to work together with one another helps us to see ourselves more accurately with the help of the body. We also look forward to seeing you equipped for service as you submit to the process of involvement in the many opportunities that become available (Phil 2:1-2). As we share in the gifts and talents of one another we will find that joy and fulfillment will
Although the history of Haslett Community Church may not be as long and storied as other churches, it is nevertheless a rich history. The roots of our community church began to grow on March 23, 1954 when several persons met at the home of Conrad and Rose Haney to discuss the need for a new church in Haslett. An open meeting was held at the Township Hall on March 31, 1954 to plan for a church. At that meeting, forty-nine people elected a steering committee and planned for services. One month and two days later on April 25, 1954, and one week after Easter, one hundred forty five people attended the first worship service and Sunday school above the old Township Hall and fire station on the northeast corner of Haslett and Okemos Roads. For the first year or so, guest ministers provided most of the sermons. Occasionally there would be a fire call and the siren would blow, interrupting the service. This always delighted the young children.

First of all, I just want to say that I am so grateful to be a disciple; I am grateful that my wife and I are a part of Gods great kingdom now. It’s been two years since my wife and I got baptized, and since then, God has done so many great things in our lives.

On May 8, 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the Southern Baptist Convention separated from the Triennial Convention. However, this separation involved only the home and foreign mission societies. Many churches in the South continued to buy Sunday school materials from the American Baptist Publication Society in Philadelphia.
The African Methodist Episcopal Church also known as the AME Church, represents a long history of people going from struggles to success, from embarrassment to pride, from slaves to free. It is my intention to prove that the name African Methodist Episcopal represents equality and freedom to worship God, no matter what color skin a person was blessed to be born with. The thesis is this: While both Whites and Africans believed in the worship of God, whites believed in the oppression of the Africans’ freedom to serve God in their own way, blacks defended their own right to worship by the development of their own church. According to Andrew White, a well- known author for the AME denomination, “The word African means that our church was organized by people of African descent Heritage, The word “Methodist” means that our church is a member of the family of Methodist Churches, The word “Episcopal refers to the form of government under which our church operates.”
...hat share my faith and together worship Jesus. I believe that by being in fellowship with other believers I will have a strong opportunity to pursue and fulfill God’s purpose in my life, whether it is a daily or lifetime calling.
But solid food is for the mature—for those whose senses have been trained to distinguish between good and evil” (Hebrews 5:13-15 HCSB). Experience with righteousness and training to differentiate good from evil are part of this growth process. The ultimate goal is to do as Jesus commanded, “Go, therefore and make disciples…” (Matthew 28:19 HCSB). Paul in the Pastoral Epistles gives instruction to Timothy and Titus, he is not only providing instruction for them, but us as well. Paull taught these men to be pastors and disciple makers. This is also the example for us, today, as

My home church is United Methodist. I have gone there ever since I was a child because that is where my mother went to church. Through researching this paper I found many interesting things about my church. There are many points and issues I agree with and many I disagree with. Writing this really made me think about my denomination closely and if it’s the right one for me.
First of all, church has greatly influenced many different aspects of my life and caused me to be the person I am today. I have always been taught to treat others with respect and to treat them how I would want to be treated. This has caused me to try to be considerate of others' feelings and thoughts as much as I can. I also respect other people's property and take care of it just as I would my own. I have also been taught at church to respect those in authority including my parents, teachers, and elders. I also have participated in church activities such as choir and video production. This has helped me to improve my social skills by interacting with other people. These things have influenced me and made me the person I am today.
Our main goal is to present everyone fully mature in Christ. (Col. 1:28) we warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. (1 Th. 5:14-15) We pray for them (Jam. 5:13-16) and help them to recognize and repent for their sins. (Matt.
Teachers must create lessons to inspire their students to think and make decisions based on God 's principles. The school should foster an environment where the students realize what Christ has done for them and give them the desire to see others come to know Christ as their Savior. A good way to make this happen is to create diverse learning opportunities where students can learn about other cultures and environments where missionaries are working to reach people for the Lord. Basically, the purpose of Christian education is directing the process of human development toward godliness of character and action.
