Oprah's Life And Accomplishments

Oprah has done some amazing achievement and many more; she had to build her way to success throughout her whole life. She started giving her first speech at her church when she was just two years old. This was a huge start for Oprah due to that she was shy and had no friends. She had then got tired of living the hard life with her mother, so she decided to run away but did not make it far. Oprah later moved with her father; he placed her into a detention home. She settled down for a while until she was in high school. This is when Oprah got her first job at the radio station and she loved what she did. Although, this continued for many years until she furthered her options. Oprah continued to make movies once she relocated to Baltimore and

started touring. Oprah made many movies base off what she had uncounted as a young child. Many women watch and listen to Oprah to obtain the information she was discussing. She achieved many goals throughout her life as a teenager. Although, Oprah had many people who she looked up to, and they helped her alone the way. However, she had other favorite things that she loved or generally loved to do she started dating after she almost gave up everything. This relationship lasted for almost a decade. In 1985, she started her movie the Color Purple which she then contracted he own talk show called OWN, (Oprah Winfrey Network).

Her very first movie called Beloved that reflected on her history when she was a child. Oprah was very dedicated; she would work for many hours at her office to finish her movie or any other work that she was trying to complete. She had made a pact that when she was sixty years old, she would retire. However, she decided to keep going with her career. “The Color Purple” was her number one best seller. She also liked the history of the black women through drama and songs. This show told about what women had went through and what they did to survive. Oprah’s parents separated when she was young. She then moved to Kosciusko Mississippi on a small farm with her grandmother. Oprah stayed to herself meaning the only friends she had was a corncob doll. She became uncertain to living in Mississippi and Milwaukee with her mother. Oprah mother, Bernita Lee, worked as a house cleaner and was at the time on welfare. Vernon Winfrey, Oprah’s father was a stem disciplinarian knows as a city council member and owned his own barbershop and store. Therefore, Oprah says that living with her mother was hard, but living with her father was

easy. At the age of thirteen, Oprah ran away and expressed her feelings to Aretha Franklin and she gave her town hundreds of dollars. Oprah was known as the most influential and famous person on earth for more than three decades. There were people who really cared when she entered the room. When Oprah became a student council president in the 11th grade, she was well known in her community and school. because of the way she dressed. Later she realized that her show really worked out and she gave her show and everything her best dedication. There was days when Oprah would work for many hours with no break to get the job done because, she was all about getting her work done before it was time for the show or movie to air. There was not one day that Oprah was not doing some kind of work and people would tell her to take a break and she would never listen. Her mother always told her that she didn’t want her to work for anybody but herself and that is what she did she worked for herself and herself only. Oprah has achieved many goals throughout her life. She had many tough things going on with her when she was young through the rest of her life. She made a way to make things go well in her life and never gave up. She said that she was going to retired but never gave up the desire to give up her dream that she worked extremely hard. Many people helped her alone the way and made her a better woman as she is today. There was close friends and family who was by her side around the time she started her career. People looked up to Oprah and still do until this day. We hope that her work will continue to air on the television and her work.
