She is a highly respected woman known to millions of people around the world. After overcoming a horrible childhood in Kosciusko Mississippi, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee where she decided to enroll at the University of Tennessee. Shortly after, her career in television began and once she moved to Baltimore, Maryland, she found her true calling. In 1986, she launched her own show and for 25 years she inspired people all over the world. Although her show ended in 2011, that was only half the mark she made and is continuing to make here on earth. This influential woman is known as Oprah Winfrey.
