Sean Maguire, the one who steals from the rich and gives to the poor, has been promoted as well. We can plan on seeing more drama between the threesome; including sisters, Regina and Zelena, and Robin Hood. Maguire strongly believes that Regina and Robin’s love will make it through this season, even though Robin was tricked into having a baby with Regina’s evil sister. “They have already been through so much that if I was a betting man I would say they’re probably going to stay together,” he said. Michael Socha will not be returning to the show, so that leaves the door wide open for Rumpelstiltskin, played by Robert Carlyle, to swoop in and steal Belle’s heart once again. “ I would be surprised if the writers let this relationship go,” Carlyle said. He adds that he doesn’t foresee them rekindling the flame in the first half of the season, but probably in the second half.
As you can see from the promotional images and the huge cliffhanger, Dark Swan will play a huge role in season five. Emma Swan has went to the dark side and everyone will be working to reverse the dark magic that has changed her, including her parents Snow and
In the article, “Once Upon a Time, Literature. Now What?” by James Salter, a novelist, by discussing the importance of language and literature, he believes pop culture is a threat to these customs. He goes on to state that learning language is the single most important task a person must accomplish. He writes that without language a human cannot describe or understand such powers as God or the beauty of the universe. Salter blames pop culture for the decline in the use of books and lack of interest in classic literature. While language

Who was King Arthur? Most people would tell of a great King; a devoted circle of heroic knights; mighty castles and mightier deeds; a time of chivalry and courtly love; of Lancelot and Guinevere; of triumph and death. Historians and archaeologists, especially Leslie Alcock, point to shadowy evidence of a man who is not a king, but a commander of an army, who lived during the late fifth to early sixth century who may perhaps be the basis for Arthur. By looking at the context in which the stories of King Arthur survived, and the evidence pertaining to his castle Camelot and the Battle of Badon Hill, we can begin to see that Arthur is probably not a king as the legend holds.
Quentin Jacobsen: He is the main character. He is very shy, he lives a very uneventful life, and is just an average shy high school boy. He wants a eventful life, but doesn’t know how to have one. He is a very realistic character in comparison to some of the other characters in the story, but in the story i think Quentin was the character who changed the most. He went out of his comfort zone and started having an eventful life to find a girl. He started doing things he never imagined he would ever do and I believe he starts to grow as a person the more life he experiences.

In 2009 Chimamanda Adichie gave a TED talk about the ‘danger of a single story’. A single story meaning, one thought or one example of a person becoming what we think about all people that fit that description, a stereotype if you will. In today’s America, I believe that we have all felt the wave of stereotypical views at some point or another. Adichie gives many relatable examples throughout her life of how she has been affected by the single story. Her story brings about an issue that all humans, from every inch of the earth, have come to understand on some level. A young child reading only foreign books, a domestic helper that she only perceived as poor. Her college roommates single story about Africans and her own formation of a single

The beginning of the twentieth century beheld the rise of new art forms and styles in North America that reflected the transformation of society and the creation of new ideas. The growing cities of in the north east were places that possessed wonder and amazement, but also darkness and muck. Artists and writers were finding inspiration from the common and poverty stricken populations that survived in the hovels of major cities like New York and Philadelphia. The Ashcan School of Art was a prominent art movement that shared the same inspiration of urban life expressed in plays and music of the time and was also impacted by the values of the spiritual movement of Transcendentalism while it also documented the evolution of the city of New York into one of America’s leading capitals.

Fairy tales have always been told to us as children; whether to comfort or entertain us, they always seem to be a part of most everyone’s childhood. When Nadine Gordimer was asked to write a children’s story, she replied with a short story titled “Once Upon A Time”. Although the title is characteristic of a fairy tale, she leads the tale to an ending that is anything other than “…happily ever after.” Gordimer distorts the fairy tale by dealing with certain issues rather than giving the reader the usual fairy tale characteristics. Three of the more significant issues Gordimer likes to deal with in her story are racial discrimination and prejudice, society’s insecurities, and the persuasive way fairy tales have with children.

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom is a story about an old man’s odyssey to his death. We all understand that death is inevitable. We all know it’s coming, but we don’t know when. Death can be viewed as a sad thing but like everything, there is always the right way to approach it, and that’s exactly what Morrie does. Contrary to many opinions, death can be viewed as one of the most beautiful things that can happen in life. Death is the most prevalent theme in this book. It is the biggest theme for three reasons. Firstly, death is something that concerns both Morrie and the student. Secondly, death is the main antagonist of the story. Lastly, the notion of death is what propels the story further.
William Shakespeare was a famous playwright in the 16th century and considered to be the best playwright of all time. One of his works is called Macbeth; it is a very famous play where the character Macbeth is prophesied to become King and kills his way to get there sooner. Lady Macbeth is clearly more responsible for the murder of King Duncan because she insults his courage and whips him into committing the murder.
