Occasions when someone has a different viewpoint than you come across a lot. Looking back on an occasion when I disagreed with someone was when people thought it was okay to do drugs. I know that your thinking that those people wouldn't even have an explanation to even support their viewpoint on drugs, but they did. These people gave many reasons why drugs are okay to take for different reasons. These people have been doing drugs for quite a while. The situation came when someone said it was 100% not okay to do drugs in any manner. Most of them said that the drugs they take comes from a plant, and plants can't be harming. Others said that it just isn't bad for you, and you really can't get addicted, it's what you choose to do. It was …show more content…
People are correct when they say that drugs come from plants, but after they are brought out from plants, they are then manufactured and they come out to be way different, and more harming than just a plant. No one that actually takes these awful things, is never going to go against them and say what they are doing is the wrong thing. Drugs are, without doubt very addicting. The things inside are the things that take you in, and make you feel that you always need more. Drugs will never be a good thing, unless they are prescribed, and a lot of people will never understand that. Once you try just once, you are dooming yourself. Drugs are so addicting with the things that they contain. When people think that vapor is no big deal, they are so wrong. Vapor in your lungs is bad alone, but when incorporated in with nicotine and tobacco, it becomes worse than before. Vapor is about as bad as cigarettes because they are bad for your lungs and vapor could easily give you pneumonia. Making right decisions about illegal substances, could literally save your life. The need for these things to get that high never is a good thing, but the people that do have to use them will never understand that. If they someday do realize that substances are ruining their life bit by bit, it will be well too late, they are
Credibility material: Its intake results in adverse medical conditions that are further exalted by its addiction properties that ensure a continued intake of the substance. The drug can be abused through multiple means and is medically recorded to produce short-term joy, energy , and other effects such as increased heart rate and blood pressure. This ultimately results in numerous psychiatric and social problems; factors that played a major role in its illegalization after multiple and widespread cases of its effects were reported in the country during the 1900s. In addition to this, the drug results in immediate euphoric effect, a property which the National Institute of Drug Abuse (2010) attributes to be the root cause for its increased po...

When we were growing up, most are told that, “Drugs are unhealthy for you”, time and time once more. I used to be told by my oldsters that medicine are risky for health once I was kid. However as I got older realized that folks would still use medicine although it's ineligible. I might ne'er perceive that why some individuals are going against law and jeopardize their life simply to use drugs? The drug that I’m about to refer is marijuana, and astonishingly it's all around United States. Marijuana is referred by today’s media thought media sources that folks fancy, like music, movies, and television shows, don't even trouble to go away the drug out of their system. I’m wondering that why marijuana is illegal? The controversy...
...re lighting up next time. Maybe they will wonder just what harm they have done to their body already. Many people that smoke marijuana have the effects that are discussed in this paper. It can plainly be seen, their lack of motivation and kind of "spacey ness" that is commonly associated with marijuana smoking. I often wonder what these people would be like if they stopped their use and allowed themselves to rid their body of the drug and its by-products. Marijuana use is still very popular throughout the United States, and the fact that people are not educated enough about its effects is very detrimental. These people are hurting themselves, and they don't know (and many just don't care) what they are doing to their bodies. If marijuana use continues to grow too much, we may have a country of unmotivated people, with many more health problems. Where will we be then?
Substance abuse is a national problem. Prisons are overcrowded with these types of offenders. People will do anything to get these drugs ranging from petty theft to murder. People with substance abuse problems know no boundaries. All they think about is how they are going to get that drug for that day.
Drugs have largely been viewed with fear and disgust by society, and rightly so. Certain drugs do horrible things to people. They can make one lose their self control, see things that aren’t there, damage the mind, deteriorate the body, and cause a dependency in the user that utterly consumes them. But while this is the case for many drugs, it is in no way universal. This is the case of Marijuana, which has long been subject to the same treatment as other, illegal, drugs and, despite it’s many benefits, is currently illegal in The Greater United States. Marijuana is not only less dangerous than other drugs, legal or otherwise, but provides many medical benefits. And yet, someone in The United States found using or possessing the substance can face harsh jail time. Marijuana should be legalized because it would provide medical benefits, help the economy, and it is no more harmful than other legal substances.
Recreational drug use has been controversial for years. Government has deemed the use of certain drugs to be dangerous, addictive, costly, and fatal. Governmental agencies have passed laws to make drugs illegal and then have focused a great deal of attention and money trying to prohibit the use of these drugs, and many people support these sanctions because they view the illegality of drugs to be the main protection against the destruction of our society (Trebach, n.d.). Restricting behavior doesn’t generally stop people from engaging in that behavior; prohibition tends to result in people finding more creative ways to obtain and use drugs. However, just knowing that trying to control people’s behavior by criminalizing drug use does not work still leaves us looking for a solution, so what other options exist? This paper will discuss the pros and cons about one option: decriminalizing drugs.
Drugs have often been bad. reputation, but it seems that in every good, there is bad and vice versa. It seems that the The only thing that has so many people divided is fear - fear of the harm it could do or even fear of the good it could do.
Drug addiction is a chronic which always the brain disease is relapsed that leads to the seeking of compulsive drugs (NIH 2012). Nowadays, drug abuse still is a serious issue for a long time although the government tries to control the drugs by rigorous imprisonment and better education program. Some people cannot understand that why and how people can be a drug addicted person. And the drug users are regarded as the lack of moral principles or willpower (National Institute on Drug Abuse 2012). People think there is no way to reduce the number of the people who take drugs, so drugs should be legalized. Another reason is that the drugs illegal poses threat to society. If the drug is legal, the society would be more peaceful. As far as I am concern,

America is wasting it’s money and resources. It’s trying restrict something on which restrictions don’t have any effects: drugs. People who don’t use recreational drugs don’t do so because of the health risks; people who do use drugs would whether or not they are legal. The fact that they are illegal makes little difference. Nevertheless, $15,000,000,000 goes directly into drug prohibition every year, and has very little effect. Very much money is spent to pay police narcotics officers, fund the D.E.A., and house drug-offenders in prison. The prisons are full of drug-related criminals, and violent offenders go free earlier because of this. Which would you prefer walking the streets, a rapist, or a potsmoker?
Transition: Drugs are just plain bad for any human body. It can harm your sense of judgment and make a living hell for some people.
