A. For my observation project I choose to go to this bar and grille called Swerve Grille it is located in Shaker Heights, OH on Chagrin Boulevard. The bar is actually right before you would get to Warrensville Center Road. Where the bar is located was in a very nice, clean environment. The bar and grille is in a predominantly white area; the bar seem to be in a very busy area of Shaker Heights. The bar was in a plaza that has about five different establishments Curves fitness center, bicycle shop called Bicycle Boulevard, a bakery called Lucy’s Sweet Surrender, a picture shop called Moto Photo and, a hair and nail shop around the bar and grille. There were many cars going up and down the street as I was going into the bar. There was a shopping plaza right across the street from the bar. I went to the bar on Tuesday September 22th, it was about 8 p.m. the sun had just gone down. As I walked in the establishment the room …show more content…
For the staffing there was a security guard and a women hosting at the door of the bar. The security guard was checking the men for any weapons and he also was checking the women purses for weapons to make sure that the establishment was safe at all times. The hostess checked the seating chart to see what tables were available to seat people. In the bar there were four women that were serving at tables and there were three men serving tables as well. All of the staffers had on black shirts that said swerve on them the men had jeans on, two of the women had black jeans and one of the woman servers had on black shorts. At the bar there were a man and a woman taking drink orders, they both seem very fast and efficient while getting everyone their drinks. They both seem to be focus on getting the drinks but they tried to get everything with a smile. Both of the bartenders had on black shirts with swerve on them. Six of the servers were African Americans and there was one Caucasian women serving. And for both of the bartenders were African
For example, the footprints belong to a person who mopped and later went to the cash register, the only employee was Ernie. This shows that Ernie couldn’t have murdered Fannin. There you have it folks, person C is the criminal. In conclusion, the police believe that person C is the homicidal murderer from the hand posture of the utensils/hand positions, the association among persons B, D, and E, and the distinction of the Y and X footprints.
Ten minutes after lining up, I went inside the nightclub. From the door, I could hear the song and the beat of the bass so loud that my heart could feel it. Inside the nightclub, I saw people were dancing everywhere, on dancing floor, on their own seats, everywhere. They would dance and take a big gulp of their beer. Even the bartenders were dancing too, following the rhythm of the loud funky music. The rainbow rays of light moved through the club to make the mood even more exciting and funky.
It was a hot summer afternoon with the smell of fresh pizza out of the oven in the air just after lunch at around 4:30 pm when it happened. He was an African American man, about 5’9”. He looked and smelled as if he had not shaved or showered in months. He had on a stained navy blue button down shirt almost 2 sizes larger then him and wore saggy torn up pants which were held in place by a belt. As he asked for a cup of water I replied by saying all we had were bottled water and since it was not my store I had to have him pay for it. As I said this he began to get frustrated and started throwing whatever he could find to the ground then pushed over a large stand full of calzones causing it to come falling down and causing a huge mess. After being told that cops were on their way the man left the store and did not return for some time.
On 03/31/17, APM Orlando interviewed SFL Leonardi with Store Manager(SM) Vandana Lall as a witness. During the interview, SFL Leonardi stated that a person came to the store and attempted to steal beer but was unsuccessful as CSA Robert Francis grabbed the individuals bag in the aisle and asked the person to leave, which lead the to the individual leaving the store. The same individual came back to the store an hour and a half later intoxicated and verbally indicated
That’s all just a story though, right? Nothing like that happens in real life, does it? I beg to differ, and after I support my claim, you probably will, too? It’s right here in the town I grew up in, all of it. Our community’s Evil struck when I was little, a mad drunk stormed through a bar and shot and killed three people.
Upon arrival, Officer Esposito made contact with the complainant at Wawa as I searched the property. As I approached the North side of the parking lot, I observed two White males. One male was walking to McDonald's, and the other male was on a bicycle. Both subjects matched the description given by dispatch and I observed both of them on Wawa's property.
Jeff Naggler, 24, who is a supervisor at Chucktown Water Treatment Plant. He witnessed bank incident across the street at an Arby's, about 60 feet from bank.
I also observed a group of 2 females and one male that were most likely under 18. After getting dropped off, they came inside and pushed 2 tables together to sit down. Immediately after sitting down, they became rather obnoxious. They were very loud, considering how small the Starbucks was, and were also cursing. One group sitting at the table behind them gets up and leaves. As they were walking out, I can clearly see that they were annoyed. However, it is possible they were getting ready to leave soon anyway. After a few minutes, the baristas began to look at them too, however they did not say anything. Eventually, one of the female’s phones ring and they all leave the store. A little while after they left, two teenage females enter the store and sit down. Like the last group, they begin looking at
As I entered the pub, I noticed business was usual, that is, both the dinner side and bar side were at capacity. I quickly walked pass the waitresses and entered the bar area, which was completely packed. There were people eating dinner, watching sports, playing on the billiard table, and of course, sitting at and around the bar drinking and laughing. I walked around the bar trying to locate a table for myself, but they were all occupied. I stood there for a minute or so regretting my decision to conduct observations at the Pub at the beginning of a weekend. Finally, after a short awkward wait, a table opened up in the corner of the bar, so I rushed over and got a seat.
I consider one of the hearts of the city to be Penn Station. It’s always crowded with people moving around to get places all around the country. The possibility of places to travel are infinite. I decided one Tuesday night to go to Penn Station to explore the motives and forces pushing people to travel around and why. I walk around the station that seems to always have this foodie smell that I can’t get enough of. Maybe because there’s a Taco Bell there? I don’t know, all I know is I love me some Taco Bell, so, I go to Taco Bell. Unfortun...
It’s 3:20 am. on a Friday morning, and pitch black out. The only things visible are the tree branches and pavement shining from yellow streetlights that carve out a path from the parking lot to the back door of my building. Living on campus at Towson I should’ve owned mace, but I clutched my car key instead, pointed outward ready to stab the eye of anyone deciding to come out of the dark after me. The brisk walk up the hill seems to take half an hour. Finally under the bright lights of the overhang I swipe my card quickly to get inside. The door bolt locks behind me with a loud click. I’m safe.
The music was blasting, along with other things. Everyone was dancing and having a tremendous time. People from all over Arkansas came to the party. It was JAM PACKED with all different types of people. Chill vibes circulated through the air and people were having a good time. Not one soul complained about anything, and then it happened. It was about twelve a.m. when the altercation started, and then it simmered down. So, we thought that was a good time to leave. OH NO! We were wrong. As we were driving out to head back, we got stopped by the police. A neighbor had called the police and we had no idea.
The coffee shop I decided to do my observation was the well known Starbucks just a couple blocks away. The reason I chose this coffee shop was because of it 's style inside, it attracted me. For example, one side of the wall has a glass top, and the lower part of the wall, made of wood and painted in a bright red color, which was one thing that attracted me and stood out. Outside of the shop people can actually see through the glass wall and get to see what’s happening inside of the coffeeshop. By the entrance you see these two red ceiling lamps which were shaped in a flower bud and these two tall green plants. Once you were in, on the right of the shop there was a counter with food and things to put in your drinks such as milk, sugar, chocolate, etc and the colors and how the food was displayed and served was appealing to my eyes. Behind that counter there was a long table with different electronic devices plugged into the wall. On the middle of the those there is a fridge just for ice and when I turned to the other side and I noticed a big menu on the wall. Further more into the shop, there was an area filled with tables, chairs, and sofas. The tables were in different shapes, one was round and the others rectangular, also there was four bamboo baskets and I looked around and noticed that the walls in that area were decorated with paintings.
Our observations took place at Newman’s Catholic Church. In particular, we observed the interactions of a priest for an hour and thirty minutes. We began by observing how he interacted with members of the church for the first fifteen minutes before service began. Then we focused on his interactions with the assembly during service and finally, we witnessed how he interacted with others after mass. During this time a few noticeable differences occurred.
I drove us to Minneapolis and parked at a parking meter, then we walked into a store because I needed to use the bathroom. While we were in there I continued to get weird looks. I wish I had asked more people how they felt, but it’s Minneapolis I don’t trust anyone. The cashier there was nice, but I could tell he was curious about my outfit, but I didn’t ask him anything because he looked rather tired, maybe it was the end of his shift. After being in there we walked along a really long bridge. Bikers looked at me weird and other people walking along the path were as well. One instance, we found a really interesting drawing that was giving a hand signal to be quiet. So, I decided to say, “shh-shh”, turns out some lady was walking towards us and she seemed a little worried and sped out of
