Earth used to be a place where people lived in harmony and peace. Now it’s being devoured by hundreds of world issues and global crisis. One of the many issues is obesity and the leading cause of obesity is fast food. Fast food may be the cheapest and fastest meal, but it lacks any nutritional value and instead loads the body with calories and fat. Not only that, but researchers have found that its the leading cause of overweight and obese people in America, as well as most parts of the world. So is it really worth momentary satisfaction for your health and wellbeing to be severely damaged in the long term?
To begin with, fast food products are extremely addictive, and that’s because of all the chemicals that fast food branches put into their products. These chemicals are added to hook the people that buy the products, not offering any nutritional value. The Washington Post has found that one Big Mac can contain meat from up to a hundred cows, showing you just how bad a hamburger from a fast food branch really is. Not only that, but fast food products are extremely high in calories. A medium fries from Dairy Queen has around 600 calories, making up around a third of your daily calorie amount.

In fact, people around the world usually can’t live without visiting a fast food branch every once in a while, but only a few realize the devastating effects that it has on your body. Carbohydrates such as hamburger buns and french fries lack an essential acid called Omega-3s which is essential for the growth of your brain. This is another reason that people who eat too much fast food can sometimes lead to anxiety and depression. It’s a cycle which usually only ends when your body has severe health problem, or in worst case scenarios;
For example, a bundle at McDonald’s can feed up to four people at one time, and it only costs about fifteen dollars! So, in the long run, it is just easier to go pick up some fast food rather than wasting your time cooking an actual meal. Lastly, even though fast food is very cheap and in every corner, it is not healthy at all. Studies have proven that a person that ate McDonald’s for his meals for a full month ended up having some serious health problems. In conclusion, even though it is very easy to access and very cheap, fast food has some serious health issues and is very harmful.
I. Introduction: You’ve probably heard it a million times that obesity is an issue on the rise in America. Well, why if everyone knows that it is a problem is nothing being done to fix it? I’m here to propose a solution to this problem affecting over a third of the adult American Population.
Today I will be outlining my plan to help education parents and children alike on the dangers of childhood obesity. With this plan I hope to better education parents and children on how to prevent and fight this current health issue. As a parent myself I’m very interested in this topic and help solving this situation. This plan will discuss what childhood obesity how we can help solve this problem. So the question stands: Is it better to eat clean meals more frequent or eat unhealthy meals less frequent to maintain a healthy weight? It also means that there is a high likelihood that you will lose some friends. This may feel bad. However, the truth is it is inevitable. Before you insist on keeping all your old friends, you need to ask yourself: are they negative?

The largest portion contains a massive 444 calories. When you consider this is normally a side portion you can see how quickly the calories add up.
