1.) Identify The Problem (Brandon, Carlos, Nylaja) Alex, a twenty-nine year old frugal business man, works at an office from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday and does not work on weekends. His job is 5 miles away from home. Alex has been going from home to work on the bus, but the bus has stopped going through the route because of a funding shortage. 2.) Identify Alternatives Buy A Car (Brandon Moon) Pros: He would have a way to take himself to places other than work on the weekends. He wouldn't have to worry about riding with someone he doesn't like. He wouldn’t have to pay to get to work everyday. Cons: He would have to pay for gas (which can be expensive). He wouldn’t be able to get to work (on time) if his car breaks down. The high crime rate rises his chance of getting his car stolen or vandalized. …show more content…
Carpool (Nylaja Ali) Pros: He doesn’t have to make any physical effort to go to work such as walking He can possibly rebuild his relationship with his ex girlfriend He pays less than he would than having to pay and keep up car maintenance (insurance, car payment, oil change, etc) Cons: He would have to carpool with his ex girlfriend and a co-worker he dislikes because they live in his area He would not make it to work on days that they both don’t go to work He has to provide a certain amount of money to both of them during each paycheck for gas since he is the only one without a car and they take turns picking him up Bike (Carlos Neftali Ramirez Licona) Pros Alex would get exercise that he never gets from working in an office and benefit to his health.
He would be helping the environment since there is no pollution. One time fee with minimal maintenance Cons He would sweat and would get his work clothes
dirty. Weather could limit him from going to work The crime rate in the city is high so the bike could get stolen which is also why there is no bus transportation right now (Nylaja’s awesome idea) 3.) Decide (Nylaja Ali) Buying the car is his best option because; he doesn’t have to depend on others to take him back and forth to work, he cannot rebuild his relationship with his ex girlfriend because you cannot have work relationships in the office, and he will not have to make physical effort getting to and from work with a bike and sweating out his clothes. 4.) Evaluate the Results (Brandon, Carlos, Nylaja) After Alex has bought the car he no longer needs to ride the bus. He feels good about his smart car purchase because he helps the environment by creating less pollution. The car helps him because it’s convenient in time and accessibility. He also does not have to depend on others or the weather (unlike with carpooling and bike riding) because of his purchase. This will help him make better decisions in the future because he will know not to depend on anyone, and knows to save his money for important investments.
As if being the father of two children and a dedicated husband were not enough, Victor Terhune has to balance his family life with his job. Victor currently works as a Technical representative for the sales department at Weastec in Dublin, Ohio. Though work holds him back from doing some of the things that he would like to be doing, like spending more time with his wife and sons, this is a common theme for many workers today in a relationship with their desire to be with their families. Victor strives to get resolution to this by making time by driving home right after work and focusing on that quality time with his family.

When starting a new business, there are always many important decisions to make and rules and procedures to be followed. One of the first steps is choosing and registering a name for the business (Chajet, 2011). Naming the business is one of the most important decisions one would make about their business. For some people business names come easily while for others, finding the right name is a big challenge. Some people suggest a business name should be descriptive of the business while others suggest a name should be unique as it is the best way to be remembered.
Aaliyah is a young woman of 25 years old. She grew up in her parent’s house and decided to leave home when she was 18 years old, due to her father’s alcohol use. She finished high school and after moving in with a friend and finding a full time job, she decided to go back to school. Aaliyah is going to school to get her degree in criminal justice. She is not happy at her current place of employment; she is working at a contracting company as an administrative assistant and is ready to move on and find something different to do with her life. On occasion Aaliyah smokes cigarettes and every once in a while she has an alcoholic drink (Argosy University,2014). First off, Aaliyah is at risk for drug or alcohol abuse, being that her father is an alcoholic and sometimes alcoholism is passed down through the blood lines, children of alcoholics are four times more likely to have alcohol problems (NIAAA,2012). Growing up in that kind of environment makes one more susceptible to psychological issues

Clay, named after his father and Kentucky abolitionist Cassius M. Clay, was born in Louisville, Kentucky. At age 12, he had his bicycle stolen, and reported the fact to a local policeman (and boxing trainer), Joe Martin. Martin suggested that Clay learn to fight; under his guidance, Clay rapidly advanced through the youth ranks. A low achiever academically, Clay won six Kentucky Gold Gloves while at high school and was allowed to graduate despite his poor grades. Presciently, his principal announced during a staff meeting about the issue that Clay would someday be "this school's claim to fame." Clay later joked about his lackluster academic record saying, "I said I was the Greatest, not the smartest."
Walt Masters was a boy in the Yukon that tried to save a gold claim from being stolen to help his neighbor. Farah Ahmedi wanted to lead a better life by going across the border to Pakistan. John Thornton wanted to become rich by mining gold. However, all three were determined to help themselves or their friends achieve something better.
Muhammad Ali, who has not heard about him? The one boxer known as "The Greatest", heavyweight champion of the world four times, famous for his delight and his unique way with words, previously named Cassius Clay. I consider a hero someone that has done great things and has gotten people's respect. Muhammad Ali is known for being the champ and master at boxing. This documentary mainly is put out to demonstrate how Ali is showing his hard goals were accomplished, him standing up for his own rights, and doing things that would probably be hard for people in my society to do now. Muhammad Ali Cassius Clay is the person who fills my standards of a hero. He accomplished his uphill battle ambitions by getting metals in the olympics. Muhammad Ali
Muhammad Ali is the three-time World Heavy Weight Champion and is one of the greatest professional boxers of all time. He is also a Muslim who rejected the draft in 1967, getting convicted of evasion charges and was stripped of his boxing title. He appealed his conviction, but the court upheld it. It eventually reached the Supreme Court, and this bid was successful. Ali became a national hero; he stuck to his beliefs and paid the consequences with no violent retaliation. He nearly sacrificed his career for his belief in peace and he will always be remembered for not backing down.
It is 1am on a summer Saturday night, the wind is gently blowing through your hair and your favorite song is playing on the radio. The stress of your daily, white-collar routine is left behind for just one night – a single evening out with your friends to catch up on the chaos of your lives. You cannot help but enjoy this rare crack in your hectic, nine-to-five schedule; a fleeting moment when everything feels right and you feel free. In the distance, you notice flashing lights. Thinking little of what they could mean, you continue your journey. Suddenly, you come face-to-face with one of the most despised enemies of urban life: traffic. As you slow to a grinding halt, you cannot help but feel irritation, anger and helplessness. It is ruined. Your one night is completely ruined. As you take your place in the endless parking lot that was once a four-lane highway, you realize that the source stoppage is a massive construction project. You look and hear them pound at the pavement with their jackhammers. Trying to control your frustration, you take a deep breath, exhale, and turn your head away. Again, you feel the victim of this deepening social crisis: the shortage of skilled workers.

American boxer, one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport. Colorful, talented, and sometimes controversial, Ali entertained fans and intimidated opponents. His boxing style involved graceful footwork and powerful jabs. He also became famous for bragging about himself. For example, he once described his skills by saying that he could "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee," In 1978 Ali became the first boxer to win the world heavyweight championship title three different times. Ali was born in Louisville, Kentucky. His original name was Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr. He began boxing at the age of 12, after his bicycle was stolen and a police officer suggested that the young Clay should learn how to box. By age 18 Clay had amassed a record of 108 wins and 8 losses in amateur competition. This included six Kentucky Golden Gloves titles, the 1959 International Golden Gloves heavyweight title, and a gold medal as the light heavyweight champion at the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome, Italy. After returning from the Olympics, Clay turned professional. He fought his first professional bout on October 29, 1960, and defeated Tunney Hunsaker. As Clay continued to win over the next few years, he became more vocal about his successes, and he was given the nicknames "Louisville Lip" and "Mighty Mouth." By 1964 Clay had recorded 19 professional wins and had earned a chance to challenge heavyweight champion Sonny Liston. At 22 years of age, he was considered a serious underdog. Nonetheless, he predicted that he would knock out Liston in the eighth round. Clay needed even less time to make good on his claim. His jab-and-dance technique tired Liston, who failed to come out of his corner at the start of the seventh round. Clay was crowned the new world heavyweight champion and proclaimed himself "The Greatest."
Muhammad Ali is one of the most decorated athletes in American history. For decades he dominated the boxing world going against any and every opposition that came before him. His stamina and charisma has yet to be matched by any athlete since him. The Vietnam War drove many Americans into the vicious battle. Many served faithfully but Muhammad Ali refused to serve his country in that way. His career was threatened and he was on the verge of being named one of the great villains of American history simply because he refused to fight in a war that his religion did not believe in and that most Americans would find in bad taste just years later.
