For my nursing career, I reviewed a few articles for information that I think would be important to know and gain knowledge from. The availability of nurses is lacking compared to what it needs to be to meet current health care requirements. Nurses can become very upset with the rising demands of the healthcare environment and consider leaving their jobs. There have been studies to investigate the relationships between hospital nurses work environment and the quality of care provided. Overall, nurses rated their work environment favourably which is reassuring. This research concerns me a little because why are people in the healthcare field having such a hard time in their work environment? Also, why is it now being taken into consideration after apparent years of this issue? I understand not everyone is always going to love their job or there will be time the work place is not your favorite, but people in the healthcare field have a very important role. Having a good work environment to me means having what you need to work such as the proper equipment, a clean environment, and a trusty staff. Some of these are the possibility of having to move in order to keep a job; a lower-than-expected pay rate because most forensic labs tend to be financially limited and the probability of a long wait from beginning as an intern and doing less "glamorous" jobs then becoming a technologist and, finally, an analyst.
