I enjoy my current role of providing direct care for chronically critically sick patients suffering from complex medical conditions, the opportunity to apply my advanced assessment and critical thinking skills and participate in several educational projects. In LTACH environment, teaching comes as a particularly important nursing activity because of complex medical and rehabilitation requirements of this special patients’ population, and I use every possibility to get close to my patients and their families and assist them in fulfilling their educational, emotional and cultural needs.
