I’ve always wanted to be a nurse, even before I joined the army back in 2008. I loved to help others, and nothing more satisfying than knowing that I have done something for someone else. Above all, I love taking care of people. With the help of the Nurse Corps Scholarship Program, I can fulfill my dream for helping lives, and the care of patients in underserved communities. All my life, I try to my hardest to work towards my educational and career goals of becoming a registered nurse.After I had my son, I really needed to go toward to fulfill my dream to become a registered nurse. I try to get into nursing school in Arizona. I even took the CNA (which was a requirement for the nursing school in Arizona) class; I didn’t get to complete it.
When I am older I would love to be a Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy helping people when they are sick and taking care of them. Another reason I want to be a Nurse Practitioner is because my sister is also a Nurse Practitioner.
There will always be a need for registered nurses in the medical industry, as nurses will always try to meet the health needs of individuals. The health industry in Canada is enormous and requires the aid of numerous amounts of nurses throughout the nation. This career requires patience and determination in order to be successful on the job. The career of a registered nurse will provide me with the satisfaction of knowing that I am able to assist an individual with the revitalization of their health. Furthermore, this paper will expatiate on the kind of industries that nurses work in including the type of sector, safety of job, as well as greatly focusing on the union that protects nurses especially in the City of Toronto. Also, the job position of a registered nurse demands specific qualifications like an education in nursing as well as long working hours. An issue that will be considered is the demand of nurses in Toronto, and if there will be a good chance of being able to find a nursing position upon graduation. Moreover, the career of a registered nurse will be examined in looking at the environment nurses work in and considering whether the work environment is safe and supportive of each employee. Most importantly, I will look at the overall aspects of the career of a registered nurse and how beneficial it will for me regarding financial aspects, social, and my ability to make a contribution in the healthcare industry. The career prospects of a registered nurse will be examined through the research of the health industry, details of job positions, and the economic and political aspects involving the job.
Since I was in elementary school, a career path in the medical field always caught my eye. I would want to pursue a career as a nurse because I want a job that is inspiring, challenging, and rewarding; I want to be able to make a difference in people’s lives every day. My mother is a registered nurse and just from the way she talks about her patients, I can see how much gratification and fulfillment she feels from her job. From a young age, I have always wanted a job that would leave a lasting impression on others. After some research, volunteering, and years of thought in what career interests me the most in the medical field, I feel certain that nursing is a profession that will fit me well.
I want to help others and give back to my community as a nurse. Obtaining a BS in nursing is a critical step towards making my dreams a reality. I plan to further my education and get a Masters in Nursing, so that I may serve as a Nurse Practitioner to low income families. While doctors treat the disease, nurses care for the individual as a whole, and that is what attracted me to the profession. Life is a precious gift, and by becoming a nurse not only can I contribute to improving the health and safety of a patient, but I can also help make their stay in the hospital a comfortable one. As a nurse I will have to be careful, kind, patient, alert, and a critical thinker just to name a few; but I am ready for these tasks and more. I am being prepared to be the nurse that will have a positive impact in the life of every patient that I encounter while providing optimum care. I also anticipate the impact that others will be able to have in my life. Seeing the strength and optimism of a very ill patient, hearing the stories of people’s lives, witnessing the ill become well, and knowing that I made a difference even if it is merely putting a smile on someone’s face will make my journey worthwhile. I want to be a nurse, specifically a nurse practitioner. I have always been fascinated with the medical field and see a bright future in it for me. I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day with a variety of personalities. There is always something new to discover in this field. A nurse practitioner's job is to be able to diagnose and treat illnesses. They also prescribe medicine and run physical exams. I am highly interested in pursuing the career of a nurse practitioner because the healthcare field is always in need for medical professionals, it pays well, and I am helping people at the same time.

Some career goals I have in order to become a member of the health care team would include graduating high school and college and taking any additional educational courses required to become whichever health field I decide to go into. I will accomplish these goals by studying, doing all my homework, making sure I get a nutritional diet, and getting plenty of exercise to maintain a sufficient amount of energy to perform these tasks. There are multiple careers I am interested in including Registered Nurse, Pediatric Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Military Nurse, and a Paramedic. I go back and forth between these careers all the time, but I know with the help of my friends and family I will be able to make the best decision. The three careers I chose to write about are Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Physical Therapist Assistant.
Three years ago, I volunteer at the Florida hospital. It was a amazing experience to see how everyone was working together to save lives. Ever since then I wanted to become a registered nurse because of my compassion, and I want to care for people. I like giving advice and emotional support to others. Nursing is my passion in life.

My career goal has always been to become an RN because I love helping people in every way possible and making them feel better. Becoming and RN will mean I get to do what I love every day. I have always wanted to become a nurse since I was a little girl, seeing both of my grandmothers working in a hospitals and always helping everyone in need. My goals in becoming a nurse is just the basic foundation of just helping people who physically cannot help themselves. I want to be able to shed light in people's lives who are losing it because of their situation. I feel as nurses is the backbone in the hospital. The nurses are there day in and day out with the patients, holding their hands and walking them and their families throughout such a difficult time.
