When discussed in the context of software, computer techs tend to remark that the form factor is the amount of memory associated with the program where it needs to run effectively (White & Downs, 2007). Technicians assert that form factors assist in preventing incompatibilities between specific hardware that operates within a computer. In other words, a Dell form factor will not work with an HP form factor.

...nies. But a similar measure was blocked in the Senate, due in part to the efforts of the drug lobby. The politicians make false promises to get elected while taking enormous amounts of campaign money from lobbyists and others that influence their votes in congress and then after they take care of their lobbyist friends they collect for themselves by taking jobs from the lobbyists making millions of dollars. We need to somehow get the laws changed that prevent politicians from being able to accept campaign money from lobbyists and other special interest groups and also prevent elected officials from going to jobs that lobbyists promise them. These special interest groups are ruining America in all areas of government. Any congressmen that accepts money, perks or job promises need to be put in jail for treason because they are selling out America to the highest bidder.

For example, I may value helpfulness, but if there is a place or time in which I am not properly trained or informed then I am not operating with competency. How helpful am I being if I provide inadequate service? I must always reevaluate my role, and the way my values impact my practice. There could be serious implications in my work as a social worker if there is conflict that arises between my values. I feel that considering if harm would come from me acting on one value instead of another in a time of conflict may be what informs my choice. For example, if my value of respecting the dignity and worth of a person means respecting an individuals cultural norms, but this cultural norm is threatening the safety of an individual then I will have no choice but to go against that value, and protect the safety of the person who is being threatened or harmed.

Values remind me of ethics and morals, necessary in any walk of life and imperative in the work place. These concepts are guidelines in which employees need to follow to be successful. “Values represent basic convictions that a specific mode of conduct or end-state of existence is personally or socially preferable to an opposite or converse mode of conduct or end-state of existence.” (Robbins, 136) Integrity, courage, service, wisdom, respect and goal setting are a few of the values that are most crucial to me and what I hope to achieve within any work place setting. What does it mean to value another person? The major consideration is to value their ideas and feelings. As an individual is natural for us to put our ideas and feelings first, above all else and not consider others. As individuals we must all be treated differently because of our different needs. For all individuals there must be made an attempt to be fair and even with the enforcement of rules and regulations.
