2010 was the year for Jets fans they made it out of the regular season and into the playoffs, all the way into the Conference Finals. But no surprise, the Jets came up short again, losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-19. After that, it all went down hill. The rankings of the Jets defense and offense decrease and with that so does their record, 8-8, 6-10, 8-8, 4-12, 10-6(glimps of hope), 5-11. With the decrease of wins most people, me included, you lose hope, and wonder when is that next year going to happen. If you want the easy answer as to why there is such a big difference between the years, just look at the Jets overall rating. It is like a roller coaster, from good one year to bad the next. But the real question is why was there this
Upon graduating from Midshipman’s School for Women, Hopper immediately received a task to the Bureau of Ordnance Computation in Harvard University. At that time, when she was around 37-38 years old, Hopper had visited Cruft Laboratory, and she was introduced to a machine that had computing capability called the Mark I. Hopper’s task was to program the Mark I, so it could produce "the coefficients for the interpolation of the arc tangents by next Thursday." Due to this short deadline, Hopper was quite horrified, so she asked some of her colleagues for assistance. Soon enough, she was able to complete this difficult task, and she was the third person to program a large-scale digital computer. In 1945, Hopper had discovered that a real moth
1: The freedoms guaranteed by the fourth amendment are the most vulnerable to ethics violations in responses to terrorism. In fact they have already been threatened with the Patriot Act(Beau), NSA wiretapping(Sage), and the Freedom Act(Destiny). All of these acts have seen the United States Government be able to search through someone’s history without a warrant. The 4th Amendment States, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated”, and that “no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause”. This clear violation of the fourth amendment put Americans rights at risk. It may have seemed right at the time, but looking back we cannot watch everyone just to catch a few people who are doing the wrong thing.
At the beginning you should choose a format of your animation playback, as we all know, different formats will have different quality and resolution requirements, so it is very important to select a suitable format for your animation. Here are some example, HDTV, DVD, iPhone movies and etc.
Music can decipher a narrative event by indicating a perspective. To unify a set of diverse images and provide rhythmic and formal continuity and momentum, a film’s structure is more often than not, directly articulated by a musical structure. Music can assist the dialogue and visuals of film and often is inaudible (e.g. music is meant to be heard unconsciously, not consciously). Music has been used by directors to reinforce or strengthen certain weak scenes in film and then on the other hand when music is not needed to reinforce a scene
“Whenever someone hears the word ‘anime’ they immediately think of Japanese animation or in the very least Asian cartoons. Really, though the word ‘anime’ is derived form the word ‘animation’. And the definition of animation is the making of movies by filming a sequence of slightly varying drawings or models so that they appear to move and change when the sequence is shown.” (par. 1)
Music videos originally served the purpose of creating an outlet through which artists could generate publicity for their work, broaden their popular appeal, and reach wider audiences with interesting audio-visual content (Berry & Shelton, 1999). Over the years, the visual imagery in music videos has increasingly become as significant as the music it represents, as music videos have now become major outlets for propagating views and stereotypes that influence popular culture.
Music is effective in getting a point across to an audience through the type of connotation that is supposed to be held within the music. For example; if there is a film with the main idea centering on a character’s death, there would most likely be music that would cause the audience to feel sad. Music that is played in the key of major elicits feelings of happiness, joy, and exuberance in individuals; therefore, this music is used to portray happy images in visual imagery. Music that is played in the key of minor tend to bring out feelings of helplessness, loneliness, and melancholy in individuals; therefore, this music is used to portray depressing or menacing visual imagery. Examples of music as an effective media artifact that can be found in the Concept in Sixty projects that were viewed in class include several videos of drug addiction that used music that was in minor key to extract feelings of sympathy in audience members, and to simultaneously
Photography has come a long way from the heliograph to the digital photograph. Throughout the history of photography there has always been a popular demand for a faster and more precise way to create the image; dating back to 1837 when the first ever Daguerreotype made its appearance in France. The Daguerreotype required only 3-30 minutes of exposure time to create an extremely detailed representation of nature. Along with the need of accuracy, came the need for making multiple copies of the same image. With this new need came the collodian, which could not only create an exact replica of the world, but could also create multiple copies of that replica. In the pursuit of extreme precision and multiplicity we have arrived at the era of digital photography. The first ever-recorded attempt to build a digital camera came in 1975 by Kodak.
Animation in its simplest form is the illusion of bringing inanimate objects to life. The most common examples are drawings, clay models and 3D models created with a computer. Technology has changed animation drastically from when it was first introduced, and for the best. People usually think of cartoons when they hear the word “animation”, and it’s understandable as to why. Animation did start out with cartoon-like drawings, and for a while most of the animation seen on TV was directed towards children.
Animations are a series of drawings, computer graphics, or photographs of objects, like puppets and models, which are different from each to create a variety of entertainment for the audiences. Animations are what brings excitement and mystery, hooking the audience in through interest. It is a form of some sort of “magic” where things that aren’t real but from the imagination comes to life in front of people who live these mundane, ordinary lives, adding color to the eyes and mind. The creators of such amazing arts and creation are animators.
I analysed “Right Here” by Jess Glynne, which gave me some ideas to use in my video. I identified positive qualities which I considered using within my video which I also got ideas from. I also identified negative features that were used and I knew what to avoid within my video, which were the mirrored parts and the scenes with too much light and reversing and forwarding. After analysing existing music videos, I did some research on the type

Animation, like any other creative art, requires a successful animator to be: patient, talented, disciplined, and willing to work hard. Among the term animation are subcategories such as: character and effects. Character animation is the hardest, in that is requires the most skill. The animator must have a critical eye for every detail that goes into the final project. Character animation can also be broken up into its own subcategories such as: 2D, 3D, traditional, stop motion, and motion graphics. However, 2D and 3D are the most commonly pursued. Regardless if the project is generated by hand or by computer, the overall goal of the animator is to entertain. The animator must have both a clear concept of how to entertain the audience, and
